We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting up your cry for help over your home and life, which are under such relentless attack. The harassment, badgering, and oppression you face are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble. The fear and depression weighing on you are real, but we declare that the Lord is greater than all that seeks to harm you. He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Cling to this truth, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly. Your gratitude in the midst of this storm is a testament to your faith, and we join you in thanking God for His faithfulness. Yet we also boldly ask Him to act on your behalf, to silence the voices of those who harass you, and to bring an end to this spiritual and emotional warfare. The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph over His children. "The Lord is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me" (Psalm 118:7).
We rebuke the spirits of fear, depression, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. These are not from God, and they have no authority over your life. The Lord commands His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray that He would surround your home with His divine protection, that no weapon formed against you would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May He expose every scheme of the enemy and bring to light the darkness that seeks to overwhelm you. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also urge you to take practical steps in faith. If there are legal or physical threats, seek wise counsel and protection through the authorities God has established (Romans 13:1-4). Do not isolate yourself—reach out to your church family or trusted believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to face this alone.
If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender every fear and anxiety to the Lord in prayer, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Spend time in His Word, meditating on His promises of protection and deliverance. Psalm 34:17-19 declares, "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."
Finally, we remind you that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in the spiritual realm (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and stand firm. The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still (Exodus 14:14).
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, asking for Your mighty hand to move in her situation. You see the threats against her home and life, the harassment and badgering that seek to break her spirit. Lord, rise up as her defender and deliver her from every evil scheme. Rebuke the devourer and command Your angels to encamp around her dwelling. Fill her with Your peace that transcends all understanding, and let her heart be steadfast, trusting in You. Break the chains of fear and depression, and replace them with Your joy and hope. Give her wisdom to navigate this season, and surround her with Your people who will stand with her in faith. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn. Restore her home as a place of safety and refuge, and let Your light shine so brightly in her life that darkness cannot remain. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Amen.
