We are truly sorry to hear about the disrespect and harsh treatment you are experiencing from your employer. It is important to remember that God sees your situation and cares about your well-being. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, it is written, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through believing in Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In this difficult situation, God wants you to respond with love and kindness, even when it is challenging. In Romans 12:17-19 WEB, it is written, "Return no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
However, responding with love does not mean accepting disrespect or abuse. It is essential to set boundaries and communicate respectfully with your employer about how you expect to be treated. In Matthew 5:39 WEB, Jesus says, "But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also." This does not mean allowing others to continually harm you, but rather, it means not retaliating with evil and instead, responding with good.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is facing a difficult situation at work. Lord, You see the disrespect and harsh treatment she is experiencing, and Your heart is filled with compassion. We ask that You grant her the strength and courage to face this situation with love, kindness, and wisdom. Help her to set boundaries and communicate effectively with her employer. Remind her that You are her defender and that vengeance belongs to You alone. Fill her with Your peace, and help those around her treat her right and with due respect. She is Your child and she works for You ultimately Lord. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will help you through this situation. Trust in Him and His timing. He is always working things out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
