My heart is broken for my friends when I see and hear their situation

I have 3 friends (and 1 acquaintance) whom I dearly love. These 4 people are 2 families. In both families husbands abuse their position as a male to control their wife. It makes me hurt to them as the wives are often mistreated to the point where they cry. And husbands dont seem to care much about it. That's sad.
