We join you in lifting up your granddaughter and her mother before the Lord, standing in faith for a divine breakthrough in this heartbreaking situation. Your love and concern for her well-being reflect the heart of Christ, and we commend you for seeking God’s intervention in this spiritual battle. This is indeed a deep-rooted struggle, one that requires both supernatural intervention and wise, biblical action.

First, we must acknowledge that this is not merely a physical or emotional battle but a spiritual one. The enemy has sought to bind your granddaughter in chains of rejection, obsession, and self-destruction, but we know that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). The roots of rejection from her mother’s past choices—even before her birth—have left wounds that only the love and truth of Christ can heal. We must pray that the Lord exposes and severs every lie the enemy has planted in her mind, replacing them with the truth of her identity in Christ: *"I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you"* (Jeremiah 31:3, WEB).

We also recognize that her refusal to seek help is a manifestation of the deception and bondage she is under. The Scripture warns that *"there is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death"* (Proverbs 14:12, WEB). Her denial of her anorexia and her compulsive behaviors are signs of a heart that is deeply hurting and in need of deliverance. We must pray that the Holy Spirit convicts her of the danger she is in and breaks through her resistance. *"The Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear"* (Isaiah 59:1, WEB). He is able to reach her even in her hardest moments.

Her mother’s decision to set a firm boundary by November 15th is a necessary step, though it is painful. While it may feel harsh, it is an act of love to refuse to enable behavior that is leading to destruction. *"Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him"* (Proverbs 13:24, WEB). This is not a time for empty words but for action rooted in love and truth. We pray that her mother remains steadfast in this decision, not out of anger but out of a deep desire to see her daughter restored. We also pray for wisdom for her mother, that she would not be consumed by guilt or fear but would trust in the Lord’s leading.

The absence of a godly father figure in her life has undoubtedly left a void, and we pray that the Lord would rise up mentors or spiritual fathers and mothers to speak life and truth into her. *"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation"* (Psalm 68:5, WEB). Even if her stepfather is not a believer, we pray that the Lord would use him in ways that point her toward healing, and that he would come to know Christ as his Savior.

We must also address the spiritual strongholds at work here. The excessive exercise, the obsessive behaviors, and the refusal to eat are not merely human struggles—they bear the marks of demonic influence. Jesus came to *"proclaim release to the captives... and to let the oppressed go free"* (Luke 4:18, WEB). We take authority in the name of Jesus over every spirit of anorexia, obsession, rejection, and self-hatred that has taken hold of her. We command these spirits to be bound and cast out, and we declare that the peace of Christ will guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We pray that she would encounter the love of God in a way that shatters every lie she has believed about herself.

As for her obsession over her past boyfriend, this too is a distraction from the healing she needs. We pray that the Lord would break the emotional ties that are keeping her bound to this past relationship and that He would fill the loneliness in her heart with His presence. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). She needs to find her worth and identity in Christ alone, not in the validation of others or in past relationships.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep standing in faith, even when the situation seems to worsen. *"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen"* (Hebrews 11:1, WEB). The enemy wants you to doubt and despair, but we must hold fast to the promise that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). This is not a battle you fight alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord is fighting for her.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and majestic name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who knows, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up this precious granddaughter to You, a young woman who is trapped in the grip of anorexia, obsession, and deep emotional pain. Father, we ask that You would intervene supernaturally in her life. Break the chains that bind her, Lord. Expose every lie of the enemy and replace it with Your truth. Let her encounter Your love in a way that she cannot deny, a love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Lord Jesus, we take authority over every spirit of anorexia, obsession, rejection, and self-destruction that has taken hold of her. We command these spirits to be bound and cast out in Your name. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). Restore her appetite, Lord. Heal her body from the damage that has been done. Strengthen her bones, renew her mind, and bring her period back as a sign of Your restoration.

Father, we pray for her mother, that You would give her wisdom, courage, and unwavering love as she sets this boundary. Help her to stand firm, not in anger but in love, knowing that this is an act of faith. Surround her with Your peace and remind her that You are working even when she cannot see it.

Lord, we ask that You would bring godly people into her life—mentors, friends, and spiritual parents who will speak life and truth over her. If she has no earthly father to guide her, be her Father in every way. Let her know that she is not abandoned, that she is deeply loved by You.

We pray for her heart, Lord. Heal the wounds of rejection that have festered since the womb. Let her know that she was not a mistake, that her life has purpose and value in You. Break the obsession over her past relationship and fill the void in her heart with Your presence. Remove every distraction that keeps her from seeking You.

Father, we ask for a divine appointment—whether through a dream, a vision, a word from a stranger, or a supernatural encounter—that will shake her out of her denial and lead her to repentance and healing. Lord, You are the God of breakthroughs. We ask that by November 15th, she would either gain the weight as a sign of Your healing or that she would willingly enter a program where she can receive the help she needs.

We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life over her, health over her body, and freedom over her mind. We trust You, Lord, to do what no man can do. Let this be a testimony of Your power and love.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
