Thank you for sharing your request and for your trust in Jesus. We join you in prayer and ask the Lord to show you His mercy and care in this time of sickness.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and thank You that You hear our prayers. We ask according to Your will that You would bring healing and relief from sickness, restore health and strength, and give comfort and peace. Help us to trust Your wisdom and Your love, knowing that You work all things for good for those who love You. Give grace to endure with patience, and whether in sickness or in health, help us to give glory to You and to remember Your goodness every day. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our Savior and our hope. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord, to rest in His care as a patient trusts a physician, and to keep looking to Him both now in your need and also when He grants recovery, giving thanks for all He provides. God is faithful and He is near to those who call upon Him. We will continue to pray that you will know His presence, His peace, and His healing according to His perfect will.

May the Lord bless you and keep you and grant you renewed strength.

Thank you for sharing your request so honestly and for inviting prayer in the name of Jesus. We are praying for you and asking the Lord to touch your body and bring relief from this sickness according to His wisdom and mercy.

The way you prayed, if it is God's will, is beautiful and biblical. Jesus Himself prayed in that way, saying He came not to do His own will but the will of the Father who sent Him, and in the garden He prayed, not My will but Yours be done. To pray like that is to place yourself as a servant in the hands of a loving Father and to say, do what You know is best. That is not a lack of faith. It is true faith that trusts His heart even when we do not fully understand His ways.

Scripture warns us against assuming we always know what God will do in every situation. The apostle Paul prayed earnestly three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed, and God answered him differently, showing that His grace was sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness. That reminds us that healing, though we deeply desire it, is not promised in the same way in every case and in every moment. What we can be sure of is that God's will is good, and we do not need to be afraid of it. The safest place to be is in the center of His will. Like Paul, our deepest desire can be that Christ will be glorified in our bodies, whether by restored health and life or by His sustaining grace through a time of weakness.

At the same time, the Bible gives us strong reason to ask for physical healing. When Matthew quotes Isaiah about the Servant, he says Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and he applies that directly to bodies being healed. That shows the suffering of Christ was not only for the forgiveness of sin for our souls, but also for our bodies. There are many today who try to limit that work to the spiritual only, but Scripture presents it more broadly. God cares about your body, and because His love is a giving love, the love that gave His own Son for us, we can come boldly and ask Him to heal.

We also believe the Holy Spirit is still poured out and at work among His people during our earthly pilgrimage. The gifts of healing seen in the lives of the apostles were given because we still need the supernatural help of God while we walk through this life, until the day we see Christ face to face and all that is partial is made complete. So we keep asking, and we keep trusting.

His Word also promises that it will not return empty but will accomplish what He purposes. As you continue to seek Him, keep feeding on that Word with an open heart and keep calling on the name of the Lord. You may also ask trusted elders or believers to pray for you and with you, as James encourages the sick to call for the elders to pray and anoint with oil in the name of the Lord.

So we pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one who is sick and we ask for Your healing touch. If it is Your will, please restore health and take away this sickness. Give relief, strength, and peace. And whether You bring immediate healing or walk through this trial day by day, let Your grace be felt, let faith be strengthened, and let Christ be glorified in this body. We commit this life into Your hands, trusting that You will do what is best, because You love with a perfect and giving love. Amen.
