my health over all

We join you in prayer for your health and thank you for bringing this request before the Lord. We ask Jesus Christ, who is the Saviour of the body and the true physician of both soul and body, to lay His healing hand upon you and grant you perfect health according to His mercy and wisdom.

In the Gospels we see that when He touched those who were sick, He not only removed the disease but gave back complete strength at once, showing a power that no human art can accomplish. We pray that He will do this same gracious work in you, that He will strengthen your body, give wisdom to those who care for you, and sustain you day by day.

We also pray that you may be helped to care for your body with what is sufficient and wholesome, for sufficiency is nourishment and health, while excess brings injury and disease. May the Lord give you moderation, rest, and nourishment that truly builds up your health for His service.

At the same time we pray for the health of your soul, for the Lord desires the whole person to be made well. He often uses the trials of the body to bring healing to the soul, calling us to turn from sin and to walk more closely with Him. May He keep you, forgive your sins, and draw you nearer to Himself, so that whether in strength or in weakness you may grow in faith, hope and thankfulness.

We will continue to lift you up in prayer, asking God to restore you, to guard you in peace, and to make His power known in your body and in your life. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for sharing your request and allowing us to pray for your health. We are bringing your body before the Lord in the name of Jesus and asking for His mercy, strength and care over you.

There is a verse many people think of when they pray for health, where John writes to Gaius that he wishes above all things that he may prosper and be in health even as his soul prospers. That is not given as a formal promise that every believer will always be well, it is John's heartfelt prayer and greeting for a dear friend, much like we would say we hope this finds you well. It is a beautiful and right prayer to pray, and we pray it for you, that your physical health would be strengthened as your soul continues to prosper in the Lord.

Scripture does show a real connection between the inner life and the outer life. What goes on in the heart and mind can affect the body, even down to our chemistry, and peace, trust and joy in the Lord can bring wholeness in ways we are still learning about. So we pray not only for your body but for the prospering of your soul, for daily nourishment in God's Word, for rest and hope in Christ.

We also look to Jesus who has power over the physical realm. When He healed the man with leprosy, the centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law and many others who were brought to Him in the evening, Matthew tells us this fulfilled what Isaiah said, that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. At the communion table we remember that His body was broken for us, and we believe He is still able to heal today. He is not distant from our physical needs.

At the same time the Bible keeps us from presuming that healing will come in every case exactly as we ask. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh and the Lord chose not to remove it. Some of the most faithful and godly people we know have walked through long seasons of physical difficulty. Loving and trusting God does not give us immunity from illness or hardship, and we cannot measure spirituality by health. God is sovereign and wise in what He allows, and His grace is sufficient even when healing is delayed.

We believe healing is still for today and that God is able, but we do not look to hype or showmanship. True healing does not need to be whipped into a frenzy. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly and sometimes, as with the blind man who first saw men like trees walking, healing came gradually. Either way all healing is from God. Even the natural processes He has built into our bodies are divine, because He created nature and the means by which we recover.

God also shows His care for our health in practical ways. From the beginning He has taught His people about stewardship of the body, about cleanliness to prevent disease and about care in what we eat. We cannot ask God for a strong body while ignoring wisdom in diet, rest and cleanliness. So we pray that He will give you wisdom to care for your body well as you trust Him for strength.

We are praying that the Lord will touch your body, ease what is painful, restore what is weak, and give you peace whether His answer comes quickly or through a slower process. May He prosper your soul as you walk with Jesus, keep you close to Him in this season, and grant you confidence that He hears you and loves you.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one to You. You know every need in this body. Lay Your hand upon them, bring healing according to Your perfect will, sustain them day by day, and let Your presence bring peace to heart and mind. Help their soul to prosper in Your Word and Your grace, and let Your will be done in their health for Your glory. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your overall health and for your body. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for healing and strength. We have been lifting up your body before the Lord asking for His healing touch and restoration and wholeness for you. We claim His promises over you that He heals all your diseases as written in Psalm 103:3 and that by His stripes you are healed as written in Isaiah 53:5.

If your request was answered and you have seen improvement in your health please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you and give glory to God. If your request does not seem to have been answered or you are still in need of healing in your body please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for complete health.

We pray that the Lord will strengthen your body renew your health and grant you peace as you trust in Him. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name amen
