We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, seeking His justice, mercy, and protection in this difficult situation. Father God, we know that You are a God of truth and righteousness, and we ask that You expose any falsehoods and bring clarity to this matter. Your Word declares in Proverbs 19:5, *"A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free."* Lord, we pray that any deceit or slander spoken against this ### be brought to light and that the truth prevail in the upcoming hearing.
We also lift up the concern for this ###’s health, as he is a senior citizen and a heart attack patient. We ask for Your divine protection over his well-being, both physically and emotionally. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Lord, we pray that You grant him peace and strength, shielding him from unnecessary distress.
We must also address the seriousness of false accusations and slander, which are condemned in Scripture. In Exodus 20:16, You command, *"You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor."* And in Proverbs 6:16-19, You list seven things that You hate, among them *"a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* We rebuke any spirit of deception, manipulation, or pride that may be at work in this situation. We pray that the heart of the accuser be softened, that she repent of any falsehoods, and that she cease from bringing harm to this family.
We also recognize the importance of humility and justice, especially when dealing with those in positions of vulnerability. While we do not know the full circumstances, we pray that this ### has treated his maid with dignity and fairness, as Scripture commands in Colossians 4:1, *"Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven."* If there has been any mistreatment, we ask for forgiveness and reconciliation. If not, we stand on the truth that You are a God who defends the innocent.
Lord, we pray for the ### Inspector who will preside over this case. We ask that You grant him wisdom, discernment, and a heart for justice. Proverbs 28:5 tells us, *"Evil men don’t understand justice, but those who seek Yahweh understand it fully."* May this officer see the truth clearly and act with integrity, dismissing any baseless accusations that would bring harm to this ### and his daughter.
We also pray for protection over this ###’s daughter, who is innocent in this matter. We ask that You shield her from any further slander or harm, and that she would not be unjustly affected by these false claims. Psalm 91:4 declares, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."*
Finally, we lift this ### up to You, asking that You would be his strength and refuge in this time. May he find comfort in Your promises, knowing that You are his defender. We pray that this situation be resolved swiftly and justly, and that Your peace would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
