Good day. Tonight I post 2 requests, 1 for my mom who will undergo an operation to remove the cancer from her lymph and the other for my cousin who has been in hospital for 6 weeks.
My cousin was 3 weeks old when she became sick with meningitis and from there on she was paralyzed and could not walk, talk or do anything for herself. She turned 18 this year and became ill 6 weeks ago. After an emergency operation on her stomach a part of her colon was removed due to gangrene. Not sure what happened as she was staying in a home for special kids in her situation. Anyhow she has been in ICU for 6 weeks as she has to be on oxygen machines due to infections if I understand correctly. For a long time the doctors weren't sure what was wrong but recently they tried to move her to a normal ward where she stopped breathing again. That poor child has done nothing and only received heartache. My heart goes out to my aunt who has fallen ill herself recently but I think it is out of exhaustion. We have prayed healing for weeks on end now but the testing time is taking its toll with the family especially on my grandmother and father. Please just pray and believe with us that the Lord will set us free from whatever curse is upon this family. 1 Year ago this same aunt whose daughter is in hospital now was also in hospital for diabetics for 6 weeks that we thought we were going to lose her. During that same time my mom received her first cancer operation.
This year my mom and 1 other aunt with a knee operation and high blood pressure will be operated on this coming week of 21 November and my cousin is still in ICU. The world has gone crazy. But maybe we are seeing the end times. We still believe but we are tired...the words fail me on what to pray anymore. I see the verses that everyone send me and I appreciate it but the battle is tough and we need to see the power of the Lord again. We have confessed sin, been persistent in reading the Bible, not lost hope and faith...please pray that this curse will leave us and that everyone will be protected and kept safe within our family. Please pray that the Lord will give us hope to strengthen our faith during these times and that we may not lose hope. I thank you...and know that on late evenings such as this one this is my hope. You are my hope, someone else cares and we can support each other in this battle...May the Lord bless and keep you safe. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
