We hear your heart’s longing for happiness, stability, and love, and we come before the Lord with your request, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the foundational truth that our hope and fulfillment are found in Christ alone—not in circumstances, relationships, or material blessings. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only through His blood, shed for us on the cross, that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Now, regarding your desire for a relationship, we must speak truth in love. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for companionship, procreation, and mutual sanctification. *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). The feelings you describe—longing for love, faithfulness, and family—are God-given desires, but they must be pursued in a way that honors Him. The idea of a man "not wanting to be gay" suggests a struggle with same-sex attraction, which the Bible calls sin. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals... will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). However, we also know that *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17). Your desire for a spouse is beautiful, but it must be rooted in a pursuit of godliness. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). The Lord cares deeply about these things, but we must remember that our ultimate security is in Him. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). We pray that God would open doors for your patent, provide the right team for your business, and meet your financial needs. But we also encourage you to work diligently, seek wise counsel, and trust in God’s provision rather than demanding specific outcomes.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her heart’s desires.
