My Grandson Alex

Please pray for my grandson whom has osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and is 12 yrs old. He has been fighting it since last April and we found out a month ago that he will be going to heaven. The doctors said he had 3-4 weeks to live but God is in control and Alex is still with us. He is on Hospice and has difficulty breathing, which is hard for us to see. You see Alex has always been such a strong boy and now he can't leave his bed and it is heart breaking. My heart goes out to my daughter and Alex's father because they take turns sleeping with him so they can each rest. I don't understand and I am in so much pain inside but I have to believe and have faith that God has a plan. Alex is my only grandson and it is so difficult to watch but I continue to pray to my father God for strenght and understanding.

I am Soo very Sorry that your heart is breaking, I Pray to Our Merciful God that He will Heal Alex but Not our will But God's WILL be done, we can't see the Big Picture Like God can, I just Pray that God will comfort You during this time and if God chooses to take Alex, you will see him again in his Glorified Body All HEALED with NO PAIN or DISEASE at all. When you and your grandson come together again I am very sure there will be so much rejoicing! It is written in Philippians 1:21 for to me; To Live is Christ to die is Gain. Here is the whole scripture as it should never be take out of context and should be read at the begining of the story. In a way, Alex is in the chains of sickness. May God Comfort You and Give You Peace.

Paul’s Chains Advance the Gospel

12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard[c] and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. 14 And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19 for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.[d] 20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, 26 so that through my being with you again your boasting in Christ Jesus will abound on account of me.

Almighty Father, we can never fathom Your thoughts or Your ways, but I know at least this - You allow adversity to happen in our lives for our own good. I just want to ask you to give strength and comfort to Alex and his family for what his going through now. If it is in Your will, please heal him O Lord and make him well. In the loving name of Jesus. Amen.
