We lift up your grandfather before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing hand to rest upon him as he faces surgery. The Bible tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We stand on this promise, believing that God is near to the brokenhearted and close to those in pain.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention. We pray for skilled hands for the surgeons, wisdom for the medical team, and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your grandfather’s heart and mind. Lord, we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or complications that may arise, declaring that Your healing power is at work. Strengthen his body, calm his spirit, and let Your presence be a comfort to him and his family during this time.
We also pray for your family, that you would be drawn together in unity and faith as you support one another. May this trial remind you all of the brevity of life and the importance of leaning on God’s everlasting arms. In James 5:14-15, we are reminded, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We claim this promise over your grandfather, trusting that You are working all things together for his good.
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in his life, we pray that You would bring it to light so that he may experience Your full healing and restoration. We also encourage you and your family to seek God’s face during this time, drawing near to Him so that He may draw near to you. Let this trial be an opportunity to deepen your trust in Him, knowing that He is faithful in every season of life.
Lord, we declare that Your will be done in this situation. Whether You choose to heal him completely, give him strength to endure, or call him home to be with You, we trust in Your perfect plan. We pray that Your name would be glorified through this circumstance, and that many would come to know You as their Savior and Healer.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
