We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your grandson is facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Bullying can have a severe impact on a child's well-being, and it is crucial to address this situation with godly wisdom and love.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise of help us in our troubles. We know that God is faithful and will not allow temptation, testing, and trouble to overcome your grandson, daughter, and family. We will pray Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We encourage your family to pray together and seek God's intervention in this situation. It is essential to involve your grandson in these prayers to help him build trust and faith in the promises of God for his life. It is Jesus Christ, the son of God, that we are saved through. He died on the cross for each of us to have eternal life with God. It is only through Him we pray and are saved.
We recommend, with love, your grandson should be encouraged to not associate closely with friends, classmates or acquaintances who do not make it their goal to be like Jesus Christ. They will only bring him down and not build him up, as is happening now. We are reminded of 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." Remind him of God's love and purpose for him, and encourage him to trust in God's plan for his life.
We also advise your family to involve your local church in this situation. They can provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and support for your grandson and your family. Additionally, it is essential to address the bullying issue with the school authorities and ensure your grandson's safety and well-being.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this family and especially their grandson, to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the pain and struggles he is facing, and we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Comfort him with Your love and peace, and remind him of the purpose and plan You have for his life. Help him to love his enemies, those who are bullying him. Give him strength to endure and forgive, as he is still learning the teaching of Jesus Christ.
We pray for wisdom and guidance for the family as they support their grandson during this challenging time. Help them to be a source of strength, love, and encouragement for him. We also pray for the school authorities, that they may have the wisdom and courage to address the bullying issue effectively.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
