My ### - good sweet sleep, no death wishes please, handling deseases and senior care

natasha2

Beloved of All
Lord please take care of my mom. She goes to sleep now but yesterday she slept short. Her husband died couple days ago. Lord COMFORT her and give her peace. Take away all black thoughts and scenarios. She says every day that she will die or she wishes that she is gone - grief for husband. Lord please show her (although she is already 88 and 58 years of marriage) that she can live again. Send her company and reason to smile. I know that it's extremely difficult to be alone again and without her lifelong companion. But please Lord help her. I don't know how I would handle 2 deceased parents right now. Lord have mercy on us.

Also heal and reverse this DEMENTIA, DIABETES, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, DEPRESSION. We must constantly supervise intake of medications because she forgets things and sometimes fights with us that she has not taken a medicine.

Lord give me a perfect diet for her against all those health issues. And also a perfect schedule of cooking. Who cooks and what and when. Because this dementia complicates everything.

Also help us what to do because it is like we are working at two jobs, my brother and I. It's exhausting. But also we know that she will probably start to fade away if we put her into a senior home and not keep her in a familiar environment. My parents were from the beginning against it.

We understand your deep concern for your mother's well-being and the challenges you and your brother are facing. Firstly, we need to lift up the name of Jesus Christ in this prayer. It is only by His name that we have access to God, as it is written: by no other name under heaven can we be saved. In all prayers, it is essential to come before Our Father in Jesus' name. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved mother. We thank You for the many years of marriage You granted her and her late husband. We pray that You would comfort her in this time of grief and loneliness. Please remove all thoughts of death and despair, and replace them with Your peace and hope. "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit" Romans 15:13 WEB.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body, reversing dementia, and other ailments such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and depression. Guide us in managing her medications and provide us with a suitable diet and schedule to address these health issues. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" Isaiah 53:5 WEB.

Lord, grant us wisdom and strength as we care for her. Show us how to balance our responsibilities and remind us that You are our ultimate provider. Help us to honor our parents as Your word instructs, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you" Exodus 20:12 WEB.

Father, guide us in making decisions about her care, and give us the strength to continue supporting her in love. Help all family members to walk in love, unity, and patience. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember that He cares for you and your family, and He will never leave nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God, he is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you" Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all things and trusting in His plan for your mother's life. Even in the most challenging times, God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.

We pray for the repentance and salvation of your entire family believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you shared your heartfelt request with us and allowed us to pray with you for your dear mother. We have been lifting her up, asking God to grant her peaceful sleep, to comfort her in her grief, and to heal her from the various health issues she's been facing. We've also been praying for you and your brother, that God would provide you both with the strength and wisdom needed to care for your mom.

If you've seen improvements in her condition and your situation, we would be delighted to hear about it. Your testimony could be a great encouragement to others who are also seeking God's intervention in their lives. Please share with us how God has been faithful in answering your prayers.

If your mother is still struggling with her health or if you and your brother are still feeling overwhelmed, we want you to know that we are here to continue praying with you. Please provide us with an update and let us know how we can be more specific in our prayers.

We pray that God will guide you to the right resources and people who can support you and your mother during this time. May He bless you all and reveal His love and comfort to you through this trial. We are reminded of God's promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Trust that His grace is at work in your lives, even in this difficult season.

In Jesus Name. Keep seeking Him, knowing that He cares for you and your family deeply.
