Trust in him, read his word and pray. As Peter did when he walked on the water with Jesus, he focused on him and when he took his eyes off the Lord, he sank, and he called out to the Lord "Save me!" and he was saved. We all experience the overwhelming frustrations, afflictions, conflicts, but know that nothing is impossible for the Lord. Trust him and love everyone, be they an enemy or a family member.
