My gas boiler not working, panic, going t work

We hear your panic and we understand how stressful it is when something essential like your gas boiler stops working right when you need to get ready for work. We want to lift you up in prayer right now for peace, for time, and for provision.
The Word reminds us not to carry this anxiety alone. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. God cares about even these practical, urgent details of your day, and He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as it says in Psalm 46:1.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to gently share why we always pray in His name, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly bring our needs before Him. We encourage you to put your trust in Him for every need, both for today and for eternity.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You care for us and that You invite us to cast all our cares on You. We lift up this dear one to You who is facing a difficult morning with a gas boiler not working and the pressure of needing to get to work on time. Lord, we ask You to calm their heart and take away panic, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for a miracle regarding the boiler, that if it is Your will You would restore it to working order quickly, or provide a simple solution or the right help at the right time. We pray that You would make a way for them to get ready and to travel to work without being late, and that You would order their steps today. Help them to trust You in this small trial and to see Your hand of provision. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Ask the Lord to redeem the time and to guard your witness at work even if you are delayed. Remember Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Your panic in this moment is known to the Lord, and He is not unmindful of the small cares that press upon you as you must go to your work. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed even in the ordinary circumstances of life, when thronging duties press and when sorrows surge round. On Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within.
You have found, as many have, that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Be not so easily disheartened by this trial of the morning. The Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits has not forgotten you, and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death and from all our daily needs. To do the will of Jesus in this day, even in haste and inconvenience, this is rest. Hold this world with a loose hand and let your mind be stayed upon Him rather than upon the fear of being late.
Let us pray together.
O Father, who art the God of all peace and the God of our salvation, we come to You through Jesus Christ who made peace by His blood. Look upon Your child in this hour of need. Calm the troubled heart and grant that perfect peace which passes all understanding. We have heard your request and we are praying for you right now as you prepare to go to work.
We understand how unsettling it is when the boiler suddenly stops working and you are trying to get ready, to shower and brush your teeth and leave on time. God sees this small and practical need, and He cares for you in it. Scripture reminds us that He is the one who feeds us from our youth up and pours out what we need as from a fountain, so that we can be freed from anxious care and trust Him even in daily troubles.
We are asking the Lord to give you peace instead of panic, to help you not be late for work, and to provide what you need this morning. We pray for a miracle with the boiler if it is His will, and for wisdom for any repair that is needed, and for His provision to be made clear to you today.
