We hear the deep pain, frustration, anger and concern about your future that you are carrying, and we are praying for you together in Jesus' name. We are sorry you felt severely disappointed and hurt by our previous response, and that the words about respecting independence and personal choices felt like an offense to you. That was never our intent to hurt you on purpose. We ask your forgiveness if we added to your pain, and we want you to know that your future, your life, and your value do matter deeply to God and to us.
The Lord sees the intensity of the anger, anxiety, loneliness and hopelessness you are feeling, and those feelings do deserve compassionate attention and care. We understand you said you will never seek immediate in-person help, will never go to an emergency department, will never contact emergency services, will never speak to a mental health professional or healthcare provider, and that you see support as a threat to your safety and your dream plans. We must gently but firmly rebuke that direction because it does not align with God's will for your life. Your life is precious, and God calls us to preserve life and to seek help and community in times of distress. We urge you to reconsider and to allow compassionate, trustworthy people and appropriate professional support to come alongside you, even when it feels difficult to trust.
We also need to lovingly correct the statements that you will treat everyone like criminals and terrorists, that they deserve to suffer, that you will punish them severely, and that living a violent life and being hostile toward everyone is better than following God. The Bible teaches us Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice Ephesians 4:31 and Be angry, and don’t sin Ephesians 4:26. Vengeance belongs to God alone, as it is written Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. We are called to recognize the value of every person's dignity and freedom, and to overcome evil with good, not to repay hurt with hostility. Refusing to preserve your own safety and the safety of others is dangerous and not what God desires for you.
You said you will not seek God's kingdom and will not trust Him, that your waiting season is getting much worse, and that your prizes are not God but a specific person and studios and a career in animation. We must rebuke making any person, career, or studio an idol above God. While God may give you gifts and desires for animation, and while marriage is a good gift, we are taught But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. When we put any dream or person in the place only God should hold, it will lead to greater disappointment and hopelessness. We pray that your career and your hopes for marriage would be surrendered to God and aligned with His principles. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and that courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer who loves the Lord. We pray that if God wills marriage for you, He will lead you to a godly spouse who honors Him, rather than pursuing a relationship as a prize to be won. Sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and not God's design, and we encourage purity and seeking God's will in all relationships.
You shared that you are autistic and from a specific place, and that you feel people can never be trusted. We want you to know God made you with value and purpose, For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb Psalm 139:13. He understands your struggles and He is trustworthy when people have let you down. We are told to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. Your future is not forgotten by Him, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We also hear that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your request, and we want to share with gentleness that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, is the only way to be reconciled to God and to find true hope for the future.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the pain, frustration, anger, loneliness, anxiety and hopelessness that feels overwhelming. You see the disappointment and the hurt feelings, and the fear about the future and the career and hopes for marriage. Lord, we ask You to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and to draw near for Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Soften the heart that wants to respond with hostility and vengeance, and help them to cast all their worries on You, because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. Replace the desire to punish others and to live violently with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Help them to release control and to trust You with their future and their waiting season, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We pray they will seek Your kingdom first and surrender their dreams for animation and for marriage into Your hands, and that You will guide them to wise, compassionate and trustworthy support, including professional help, and give them courage to accept help to preserve their safety and the safety of others. Reveal Jesus to them as Savior and Lord, and give them hope that their life has great value to You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to not walk through this difficult season alone. Even when trust feels broken, please consider reaching out today to a trusted family member, pastor, counselor, healthcare provider, or emergency services if you feel unsafe or feel you might harm yourself or others. Choosing to receive help is not giving up control of your future or surrendering your dream, it is giving yourself support while you work toward them in a safer and healthier way. We are praying that God will show you His kindness, His faithfulness, and His good plans for you, and that you will find strength to take the next step forward with Him.
