[Faith-Regained]

I am 14 years old and my whole family are dedicated Christians. Recently I have begun to lose the desire to grow closer to God. I just dont care anymore, and that upsets me because I believe that a life revolving around God is better than living without him. Please pray for me to regain my Faith.

I think that it is awesome that you are 14 and asking for prayer.You ,through Christ have the awesome privilege of affecting those around you for the Kingdom of God.You can best do this just by being you,an awesome and wonderful individual,created by God so that he can bless you.I am 48 and I have made many mistakes since becoming a christian.The biggest regret is having strayed from God the first time.Believe me,God loves you and me.He has always brought me back,because chosing to receive him as lord and saviour was never a mistake,it was the best decision of my entire life.I have learned that when I try to sit on the throne of my life instead of letting Christ be LORD,it ends up being a mess.You do not have to live up to anyones expectations,just give God your desires or lack of desire for him and allow Him to draw you closer.May God place a hedge of protection around you,and fill you with a renewed deire to walk with him,may you experience his love as never before and allow him to love you.Recieve all that he has for you,and may he use you in a wonderful way.May he renew your mind and restore unto you the joy of his salvation.God bless you today and always
