My friends' son will undertake major open heart surgery ...

My friends' son will undertake major open heart surgery tomorrow (Wednesday the 08th of Jan) from 8.00am to 18pm Houston time at the Texas Children's hospital (No3 in the world for heart surgery). Eugene is not well and very weak. He is sedated, tubed and on life support at the moment. His parents are really hoping for the surgery to go well tomorrow because if not, he will need a full heart transplant or even worse.

I would like for you to help me pray for Eugene and his parents if you could….

These are the things to pray for:

- no complications during the surgery

- for the surgeon to find out where/what the problem is that is causing the sudden weakening of his heart

- for the problem(s) he finds to be fixable tomorrow

- for Eugene to be strong enough to go through and recover from this major surgery

- for his heart to be well enough during and after the surgery that he will not need a full heart transplant

- for angels to be looking after him the whole time tomorrow and the new few days

- for the devil and any demons to stay away from Eugene at all times in the next few days

- for Anne and Pierre to have strength to go through this terrible time and to open their hearts to Jesus

I can't imagine having to watch a young child go through heart surgery. I pray that the surgery goes well and resolves the problem and that he never needs a transplant. I pray for God's protection over him and the Holy Spirit's comfort to his family.
