We lift up your dear friend and you before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s healing touch to rest upon both of you. The pain she is enduring is heavy, and we stand with her in faith, believing that Jesus is the Great Physician who hears the cries of His children. We declare that by His stripes, she is healed, as Scripture assures us in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We also pray for your own body, that the Lord would strengthen and sustain you as you care for your friend. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name. We ask for Your healing hand to touch our sister in the hospital. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and we trust in Your mercy and grace. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will restore her health and renew her strength. Father, we also ask for Your healing in the life of the one praying for her, that You would remove any pain or weakness and fill them with Your perfect peace.
Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We stand on Your promises and believe that You will perform a miracle in their lives. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. May they know that You are with them, even in the valley of the shadow of death, and that You will comfort them (Psalm 23:4).
We also pray for the medical team attending to her, that You would grant them wisdom and skill as they care for her. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing.
Father, we thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that sickness and disease have no place in their bodies, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through them like rivers of living water.
We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for the miracle that is on the way. May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they testify of Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue standing on God’s promises, even when circumstances seem impossible. Hold fast to His Word, for it is truth and life. Remember that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
If there are any unconfessed sins or areas in your life that are not aligned with God’s will, we encourage you to repent and turn away from them, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
