We lift up ### before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet full of hope in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. We declare that by His stripes, ### is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her life—complete restoration of her body, strength to endure the trials of chemotherapy, and relief from the dangerous retention of fluids in her body.
Heavenly Father, we recognize that faith is a gift from You, and we pray that You would strengthen ###’s faith in Your promises. You have said in Your Word, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). Lord, we ask that You grant her revelation—show her what she may be missing in her walk with You. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Remind her that her worth is not found in her circumstances but in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
We also bring before You the grief she carries from the loss of her husband. Lord, comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Heal the wounds of her heart and restore her hope. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help her to release the pain into Your hands and to trust in Your faithfulness.
Father, we must address the power of her words. Your Word is clear: *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit"* (Proverbs 18:21). We rebuke the spirit of negativity and doubt that has taken root in her speech. We pray that You would renew her mind and transform her thinking according to Your truth (Romans 12:2). Help her to speak life over her body, her circumstances, and her future. Let her words align with Your promises of healing, hope, and restoration.
We also pray for her friends, including the one who submitted this request. Give them wisdom, patience, and love as they walk alongside ###. Help them to be bold yet gentle in encouraging her to speak faith-filled words and to trust in You. Let their lives be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.
Lord, we stand on Your Word that says, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15). We declare that the prayers of many are not in vain. You hear the cries of Your children, and You are moved with compassion. We ask that You would move mightily in ###’s life, bringing breakthrough where there has been stagnation and healing where there has been sickness.
We also pray for her medical team. Give them wisdom, skill, and discernment as they care for her. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Whether You choose to heal ### miraculously or to sustain her through this trial, let Your name be exalted. Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and let her testimony be a light to others who are struggling.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
