Hello everyone,
My good friend, Jason, has a court appearance tomorrow for things he did while drinking. I had actually
asked for prayer concerning him weeks ago and forgot to update: He and I are very good friends now.
We met while I was in a terrible backslidden state, drinking and drugging.
I came out of it and was set on high One More Time, alive, unscathed with no legal troubles.
But Jason got arrested. He has emotional problems and is on disability at the tender age
of 41 and he tries his best. He is as close as one can become without literally accepting Christ
as His savior and mentor. God has used me miraculously. He says I'm his first Christian friend.
He hated all Christians before he met me and I can only thank God for that as He develops my
character towards Christ-likeness every moment of every day. This is, of course, contingent upon
me Trusting and Obeying with much, hardfast emphasis on pleasing Him. I have learned to actually
love Him more than my children and to worship Him more than His creatures or His creation.
My friend is very frightened tonight. Here's something he messaged me on -banned site-:
Just trying to keep remembering that God does not give us more than we are capable of dealing with...
he gets right up there darn close to the the very edge of the line though so that we are challenged
but God is not a sadist and only wants us to learn..
We both just want for God's will to be done in court tomorrow. Thank you very much. Amen.
