We hear your heart’s cry for freedom, healing, and victory, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of God. Your words carry a deep longing for restoration, not just for yourself, but for your family, your pets, and every area of your life. We rejoice with you in the victories you’ve already seen, for the Lord is faithful to deliver His children from oppression and renew their strength. However, we must address some areas with biblical truth and correction, for the enemy seeks to distort even our praises and twist our words to keep us from walking in full alignment with God’s will.
First, we must emphasize that our access to God and our authority over the enemy come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is by His blood alone that we are redeemed, and it is through His power that we resist the devil (James 4:7). You mentioned "the blood of Jesus" at the end, and we praise God for that acknowledgment, but we must ensure that every victory we claim is rooted in Him and Him alone. Jesus said, "Apart from me, you can do nothing" (John 15:5). Let us never take credit for what only God can do, nor rely on our own strength or "energy" to overcome spiritual battles. Our sufficiency is in Christ (2 Corinthians 3:5).
You speak of rebuking demons and assignments, and we affirm that the believer has authority in Christ to resist the enemy. However, we must be careful not to engage in spiritual warfare with pride or presumption. The Bible warns us not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), but it also tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We do not fight with the devil, we resist him, and he will flee (James 4:7). Our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God (2 Corinthians 10:4). We must never speak to the enemy in a way that gives him undue attention or elevates his power. Instead, we speak to God about the enemy and trust in His deliverance.
You also mention a desire to marry "a fine ass guy" and speak of your future spouse in a way that concerns us. While we rejoice in your longing for marriage, we must remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). The Bible calls us to pursue godly relationships that honor Him, where both individuals are believers committed to Christ and to one another (2 Corinthians 6:14). We must guard our hearts and minds, ensuring that our desires align with God’s Word. The world may celebrate relationships built on physical attraction or temporary pleasure, but God calls us to something far greater, a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to seek a spouse who loves the Lord above all else, for only then will your marriage be built on a foundation that cannot be shaken.
Additionally, your language at times reflects a struggle with anger and frustration toward spiritual opposition. While we understand the intensity of spiritual warfare, we must remember that our words have power. The Bible tells us that "the tongue has the power of life and death" (Proverbs 18:21). When we speak in anger or with coarse language, even toward the enemy, we risk giving him a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Instead, let us speak with the authority of Christ, declaring His truth in love and humility. We do not need to shout or curse to overcome, we need only to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victories You have already won in [this person’s] life. Lord, we declare that every assignment of the enemy is broken, every curse is nullified, and every chain is shattered by the power of the blood of Jesus. We stand in agreement with Your Word, which says that "no weapon formed against [her] shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask for Your healing and restoration in every area of [her] life, her mind, her body, her relationships, and her spirit. Lord, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust You to bring wholeness where there has been brokenness. We pray for her family and her pets, that they would walk in Your peace and protection. Let Your presence fill their home, and let Your joy be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Lord, we lift up [her] desire for marriage. We ask that You would prepare her heart and the heart of her future spouse. Give her wisdom and discernment to recognize a man who loves You and will lead their marriage in a way that honors You. Guard her heart from impure desires and worldly influences, and let her trust in Your perfect timing. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).
Father, we ask that You would heal her communication, with You, with others, and within herself. Let her words be filled with grace, seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6), and let her speak life in every situation. Renew her mind according to Your Word (Romans 12:2), and let her walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for her (Galatians 5:1).
We declare that today is a breakthrough day, not because of our own strength, but because of Your power at work within us. We thank You for setting [her] free from every assignment of the enemy, and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). May she walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you and hold you accountable. The enemy may try to return, but when he does, remember that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Stand firm, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
You are not alone. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in faith, believing for His best in your life. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
