My father died of colorectal cancer when he was ###, and two of his sisters have polyps removed every two years in routine colonoscopies. Due to my family history, even though I'm only ###, I went in for my first colonoscopy today. The procedure seems to have gone well, but the doctor removed ### small polyps and sent them off for biopsy. I thought for sure, due to my age, that I would not have polyps. But, I did, and I do feel a little disappointed, and definitely worried. I ask for prayer that the biopsies come back saying the polyps are benign, and that God will protect me and my health. Thank you.
