Dear Lord,

My uncle is a truck driver. So i dont get to see him much. He is devorced and he drinks alot. I wish he would quit drinking too much.

I prayed for your uncle today, that the Holy Spirit would help him to see what a poor substitute alcohol is for the peace and contentment and joy that awaits a heart sold out for Jesus, seeking Him and abiding in Him. I prayed for his safety and his freedom from his slavery to alcohol.

I stand with you in prayer. I pray that God will send His healing power to balance the physical and mental aspects that have been disrupted by alcohol. I pray that as God helps him regain his mind, his desire for the alcohol will fade away, as well as the anger, depression and hopelessness it causes. I pray that God will send Him aquaintances who he can relate to his addiction and to minister to him. I pray they can bring him back to the Lord. I pray that God will heal your relationship with your uncle and restore your family. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Dear Jesus I put this man at your feet so that he quits drinking and decided to get close to you. Dear Jesus I beg you to protect him on the road, have angels guide him tyhroiugh the night and day as he drives from one place to another. Make him feel the need to know you Dear Jesus. Bless him.
