Alcohol is cunning, baffling and powerful...without help it is too much
for one to handle. Self denial is one of the worst effects of an alcoholic.
Family's are torn apart by this 'drink' problem. The sad truth is many
have to really hit bottom before seeking help, if ever. Without question,
the ones that come to learn of the solution to alcoholism, have found a
spiritual life and a Higher Power to allow a new design for a new life.
Many family's give up on one that is drinking. Patience and love are essential
in coping with this problem. I pray your family finds the strength and courage
with God's love to remain strong and unite in hope.

Father God, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that You will show Yourself strong and all consuming against the trouble that weighs so heavily upon the hearts and minds of these precious ones and causes their very souls to weep. Give them strength to stand according to Your word as they wait upon You and Your perfect will for their lives. Help them to be strong and of good courage, and to fear not, for You Lord God, will be with them now and always in Jesus Holy Name. Amen.
