My ex fiance contacted me about a week and a half ago to tell me that he still loved me and missed me and made a mistake calling off our wedding (he mom had passed away at the time and he was processing a lot and his grief). I am thankful for this news as I had the hardest time and was devastated after he called things off. However, I feel inpatient already. I have asked to chat with him vs text and he was "out" for a friends birthday. I have asked to get together casually 2x already and he has not had time (up North for family party and preparing for surgery tomorrow). He has told me that he is not dating or talking to anyone, but he was "out" last night vs making time to speak to me. I feel that my expectations are very high because if I had done that to him I would want to mend things immediately and not lead him on. It has only been a week and I know we should go slow so I ask for prayer for communication from my ex fiance and for patience and for God to open his eyes (if it is his Will) for us to rekindle our relationship and be married again soon. I am 37 years old and am not a textual person. You cannot get the essence of the person from text. I pray to God and ask for your prayers that my exfiance reaches out to talk over the phone at least and very soon. I also ask that you pray for his surgery tomorrow. Thank you.

Father in Heaven, I pray that you protect their hearts father and give them the strength to accept the ups and downs as well as give them wisdom at this time. I pray that if the formal relationship cannot be the way it was, I pray that a wonderful friendship can.
