Thank you so very much for lifting Nora up in prayer. I will be rereading this and praying your prayer. Thank you so much for understanding and for caring and for taking the time to pray for my girl. I am so thankful for you and everyone who has prayed for Nora. We don't know many people so I came online to ask for help and prayer and I am so glad that I did. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for not letting her slip from your memory. It means so much to me that you truly care for her well-being and want to know how she is! My mom is already sick of me talking about it to her and I've barely said much at all. I don't have a vehicle anymore so my mom said she would miss work and take me. Obviously she isn't happy about that. So I can't really fathom the 7-8 hours I'll be with her. And it doesn't seem like she will understand how I feel once I have to leave Nora. I just keep thinking of how Nora will feel. So confused and scared. She will be frightened being put in a metal cage surrounded by barking dogs. I want her to be able to get the dog equivalent of Xanax to help her not be so afraid and be calmer. I just wish there was a way that Nora could understand that I'm not leaving her, I'll be back and I'm doing this to help her. I can't imagine letting go of her leash that morning. She has to be there at 9:45 & then I am hoping to have a pre op meeting with hopefully her doctor (that i will meet there for the first time! I couldn't get the doctor I wanted because Friday was best for my mom to take off and he wasn't there on Fridays. I was so torn on what to do but really had no choice.) The one good thing is that I can get Nora that same day between 3 and 5pm Thank God for that! I wish I could give her things to make her more comfortable in the cage. She use to be afraid of linoleum floors so she won't want to be in a metal cage. I thought about a pillow and maybe a blanket or something but I don't want her to get wound up and hot and unconfortable. I just hope I get some clarity on how I can help her. And I need to make money by then. So I've been trying to sell the log splitter I have to a guy who was interested but he hasn't contacted me back. I hope to call him again today.
May 3rd will be very very emotional. I rarely leave Nora because I don't like going where she isn't welcome. I love her more than anything. So please do keep her in your prayers. Especially on May 3rd (well...her and I, if you wouldn't mind) and especially between 9:45 to10:20. It's going to be awful walking away from her. But thank you, it does bring me comfort to know there are people in the world praying for her well-being. <3

Thank you so much! Isnt she though? I am so blessed to have her in my life. It really means so much to me that you and others care about her. I'm really so worried about her. And I just can't stand the thought of leaving her tomorrow. But I am so grateful that I can get her the same day and I am also grateful that the vet says she will be sedated when she gets there, before she even has to go in the cage. So they say. I hope. I really hope.i am very thankful she'll be medicated. She gets sick easily so I hope she won't get too nauseous. I read after surgery and anesthesia dogs and humans are cold so I am sending her with a fur blanket and pillow that is a stuffed animal huskey ( it's adorable. She loves pillows. She has her own 'Mypillow'.... which i highly reccomend for anyone out there. The advertisements sound too good to be true but they totally work!) And a gallon of water because she drinks that at home. I just want her to be as comfortable as possible. I was considering waiting outside for 7 or 8 hours. But if my mom is taking off work to do this maybe I should think of her and what she would want to do. And they do say distance makes the heart grow fonder so it'll be interesting to see how happy she is when I finally see her. I'm certain I'll be in tears. I don't leave her much. I don't want to either. I'm really very grateful for you and for everyone on here who has prayed for her. She is the sweetest kindest most forgiving creature and I am so lucky to have her. When she comes home I can't wait to cuddle and sleep with her! Thank you for caribg about her. We do not know many people so the fact that ypu acre about her means a lot! Thank you!

She has been dropped off. I did get to meet and speak with her doctor. Which it originally didn't look like that was something I would be able to do. I started the day off bad by accidentally sending my mom a text meant for another person and ideas venting about my mom in the text. And I wouldn't be able to take Nora to the vet if it weren't for her. She had to request a day off of work and drive me here in a car she worries about. So she is going above and beyond for me and i complain about something stupid and she gets the message by mistake. I feel awful please pray she will forgive me and somehow be able to move past it if you would. She was really angry at me. Rightly so.

Thankfully, I am happy to report Nora's surgery did go well. Before dropping her off i was able to meet the Dr who would be doing her surgery. The dr had said that the lump wasn't in a great spot because her leg didnt have extra skin on it like her stomach area might have. Then to make a circle sized incision which would make it even harder to close. But indeed God watched over her and everything worked out. They even let her have her stuffed animal pillow I had brought for her.
Thankfully also, I was able to pick her up at 3:30.
Painwise she seems pretty good overall. She doesn't want to go down steps outside, which is odd because inside she will jump up on the couch which is also her bed. The incision is right where she bends her legs to go to the bathroom, but honestly she is handling the pain far better than I would.
I've already seen Nora either lick or chew at the area 5x so I know its bothering her. All i was thinking about was the pain she would be in. I didn't remember that when wounds heal they are itchy. I have a very hard time not touching or itching something trying to heal. I can't imagine how hard it would be for Nora.
As for the biopsy results, I should know how they turned out next week. I can call in on Thursday. I'll either know Thursday or Friday, but they are hoping for Thursday. Frankly I am believing everything will come back okay and that it won't be cancer. So if it is, I'll be very shocked and unprepared.
I am thankful I got to pick her up early and most of all thankful everything went good for her.
Unfortunately I had to borrow money to have the remaining 140 necessary iut of the 500. But I was able to sell a log splitter afterward so i have money quicker than i thought i would to repay the people who lent me money. So that is very good.
Unfortunately things with my mom aren't good. Because of the bad start to the morning. She is definetly angry with me. So I feel awful for hurting her by the text I accidentally sent to her.
So I am very thankful everything all in all went well.
Thank you to you and to everyone who prayed for Nora's well-being and for her surgery to go well. It truly means so much to me that you cared and prayed for her and kept her in your prayers.
