Thankfully, I am happy to report Nora's surgery did go well. Before dropping her off i was able to meet the Dr who would be doing her surgery. The dr had said that the lump wasn't in a great spot because her leg didnt have extra skin on it like her stomach area might have. Then to make a circle sized incision which would make it even harder to close. But indeed God watched over her and everything worked out. They even let her have her stuffed animal pillow I had brought for her.
Thankfully also, I was able to pick her up at 3:30.
Painwise she seems pretty good overall. She doesn't want to go down steps outside, which is odd because inside she will jump up on the couch which is also her bed. The incision is right where she bends her legs to go to the bathroom, but honestly she is handling the pain far better than I would.
I've already seen Nora either lick or chew at the area 5x so I know its bothering her. All i was thinking about was the pain she would be in. I didn't remember that when wounds heal they are itchy. I have a very hard time not touching or itching something trying to heal. I can't imagine how hard it would be for Nora.
As for the biopsy results, I should know how they turned out next week. I can call in on Thursday. I'll either know Thursday or Friday, but they are hoping for Thursday. Frankly I am believing everything will come back okay and that it won't be cancer. So if it is, I'll be very shocked and unprepared.
I am thankful I got to pick her up early and most of all thankful everything went good for her.
Unfortunately I had to borrow money to have the remaining 140 necessary iut of the 500. But I was able to sell a log splitter afterward so i have money quicker than i thought i would to repay the people who lent me money. So that is very good.
Unfortunately things with my mom aren't good. Because of the bad start to the morning. She is definetly angry with me. So I feel awful for hurting her by the text I accidentally sent to her.
So I am very thankful everything all in all went well.
Thank you to you and to everyone who prayed for Nora's well-being and for her surgery to go well. It truly means so much to me that you cared and prayed for her and kept her in your prayers.

Nora's surgeon had someone call. The results came in a day early. What she had was trichoepithelomia which is apparently rarely cancerous. And hers isn't. The doctor said it wouldn't grown back. But online it says it rarely comes back. That's all I know but I asked them to mail me the results. But that sure is great news. Thank you so much for caring about Nora and praying for her. Hopefully she never has another tumor!
