Disciple of Prayer
My Dearest Lord Jesus Christ, I need a serious financial breakthrough as in now. I’m sinking in debt every single day. My family is being destroyed every second, and this is driving me into major depression. I am like a walking corpse, sinking every day financially since my Dad passed away. He left us a substantial amount, a huge home in South Africa. It all started when my Mom spent all that money and the bond on our home was never paid up. I took an overdraft of R###,### to assist my Mom. I have since taken multiple loans to help my Mom. When my salary comes in every month, I’m left with nothing. I have two children aged ### and ### with my husband who left us when our daughter was 2 weeks old and has never bothered to assist me with their upbringing. We had a home we shared and paid the bond together, but when he left, he sold our house and I was forced out of the house together with my children who were 3 years and about 5 months old at the time, and I had to move back into my parents’ home. I had a major accident in 20##, but I never had a single scratch from the accident whilst my car was written off. For many years I was forced to use public transport to go to work, and some days I would be on call at the hospital in ### till the following day. I prayed to God for a car and fasted and cried tears every single night because for my kind of work a car is a necessity. No bank wanted to finance me. I told God that He has forsaken me, and all I want is to die because I was getting into trouble for getting to work late or finding excuses not to get to work. I even told God that I would rather have ten snakes coming to bite me because I’m a disgraced doctor who uses taxis to work, and God is not listening to my prayers. I cried until my eyes were swollen. I continued to pray because I had to provide for my little children without their Dad. Eventually I had a bank willing to finance my new car in 20##. I praised God as if there was no tomorrow and apologized for my rantings. Fast forward to 20## to 20##. My old car was leaking oil, sometimes won’t start, and I paid R###,### to fix the problem which was never properly fixed, and service cost me R###,### each year. I paid another R###,### for fixing the oil issue, which turned out to be a bigger problem of cracks in the engine and it was wear and tear. The worst part is that I’m doing a Masters degree lasting 4 years and I’m at the point of being kicked out of the programme for no sound reason at all. Prof ### once liked me and believed in me, but he was influenced by Dr ###, Dr ###, Dr ###, Dr ###, and Dr ### that I must be kicked out of the programme because of my age of ## years. I have been praying against this decision. They built lies against me to validate their assertions that I’m incompetent and I’m a danger to patients. The primary prayer request is a major financial breakthrough this week, so I can pay cash for my car. Nothing is impossible with our living God. I need a home of my own so that my children can say this is our Mom’s house. At my age I will not qualify for a bond, so I need to pay cash for my house. I need to pay up my Mom’s bond so that she can retire and do light work. She is an ## years old doctor who can’t even walk properly. I need to pay for my Dad’s rates and taxes which my Mom cannot pay as she can hardly walk to work. I need a major financial breakthrough for my younger sister, ### ###, a first female Electrical Engineering graduate from ###, with an MSc in Engineering, an MBA from ### in ###, and qualifications from ### in ###, in the USA, also retrenched for no reason just because she went to my ###’s funeral in the ###. She has no income at all for a whole year, and she has twins in an expensive school. Her savings are depleted now. Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Son of David have mercy on my family in terms of financial breakthrough and new jobs for my sister and my Mom. Son of David, Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I want to pass my Masters degree suma cum laude, and my Part 2 exams with distinction. Son of David, Lord Jesus Christ please make Mr ### ### call me from ### and tell me the car is fully paid up and I can come and collect it, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen. Amen.
