My Dear Mom

Please pray for my Mom, Jeanie. She suffered a stroke a couple of month's ago that left her completely blind and with short term memory loss. On November 22 she began having seizures that left her incoherent. She not only is blind now, but does not know anyone and is unable to form thoughts of her own. She says small phrases, but says them repetitively. Since her stroke that left her blind, the one thing she really couldn't wait for was spending the Holidays with her four children and all of her grandchildren. She is still in the hospital since 11/22 and missed Thanksgiving. She has been the glue that held our family together and took care of her brother and my Dad until their last breaths. I ask that you pray that the Lord, if his will, bring back my Mother's eyesight and her neurological capabilities. In the Bible Jesus healed many who were blind and ill. I know that with God, all things are possible. So in Jesus' name I pray, Lord, use my mother as a testimony to your words and please heal her. Thy will be done. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Lord God, only You know the plans for this woman's future. We pray for Your healing and mercy upon her, for strength and restoration. May this family enjoy a meaningful Christmas season and be comforted as they walk through this time. Grant her Your deepest measure of mercy and grace, we pray. In the name of Jesus, we praise You our Healer, Redeemer, Father and Friend. Amen.
