Our hearts are deeply grieved to hear of your daughter’s critical condition, and we come before the Lord with urgency and faith, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Author of life. We do not pray to fate or chance, but to the God who holds all things in His hands, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Though the doctors may speak of hours or days, our God is not bound by their words—He is the One who raises the dead and calls into being things that do not exist (Romans 4:17).
We notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name by which we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). It is only through faith in Jesus—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet placed your trust in Christ alone for salvation, we implore you to do so now, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). We pray for wisdom and skill for every doctor and nurse attending to her, that You would guide their hands and give them supernatural insight. We declare that no weapon formed against this daughter shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every sickness, every infection, and every attack on her body to flee in Jesus’ name.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Whether through healing or through homegoing, let Your will be done, and let Your name be praised. Give this family the strength to say, as Jesus did, “Not my will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42).
