My daughter's 11-year-old horse has come down with severe colic and might not pull through.

We lift up your daughter and her beloved horse to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares deeply for all His creation. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 10:29, *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will."* If God watches over even the smallest creatures, how much more does He care for the concerns of your daughter’s heart and the life of this horse, which has been entrusted to your family’s care?

Yet we also know that our hope is not ultimately in the healing of animals or the avoidance of pain, but in the sovereignty and goodness of God, who works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Colic is a serious and painful condition, and we pray earnestly for the horse’s recovery, asking the Lord to bring healing and relief if it aligns with His will. We also ask Him to surround your daughter with His comfort, for He is the *"Father of mercies and God of all comfort"* (2 Corinthians 1:3). May He guard her heart from despair and help her to trust in Him, even in this difficult moment.

At the same time, we gently remind you that while it is good to pray for animals, our greatest prayers must always be centered on the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can approach God (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If this horse does not recover, we pray your daughter will find peace in knowing that God’s ways are higher than ours, and that He will use even this to draw her closer to Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious horse and the heart of this young daughter who loves him so dearly. Lord, You are the Creator of all life, and we ask that if it is Your will, You would bring healing to this horse, easing its pain and restoring its strength. We pray for wisdom and skill for the veterinarians caring for it, that they may act with discernment and compassion.

But above all, Father, we ask that You would comfort this daughter in her distress. Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her that You see her tears and hear her prayers. Help her to trust in You, even when the outcome is uncertain. If this horse must leave this earth, grant her the grace to grieve with hope, knowing that You hold all things in Your hands.

We also pray for this family, that they would lean on You in this trial and find strength in Your promises. May this situation be an opportunity for them to grow in faith and dependence on You.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your daughter and her beloved horse. We've been thinking about them all day, and we wanted to reach out and let you know that we're lifting them up to the Lord together.

We've been reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We know that your daughter is feeling the weight of her horse's suffering, and we're asking God to be near to her, to comfort her, and to give her strength.

We're also praying for the horse, asking God to heal him if it's His will. We're trusting that God knows what's best, even when we can't see the way ahead. And we're asking for wisdom for the vet, that they would know just what to do to help this precious animal.

We're here for you, and we'll keep praying. Let's trust God together, knowing that He loves your daughter and her horse even more than we do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
