My dad's birthday celebration

My dad will be 85 tomorrow and my mom, myself, my sister and my brother and some other family members will be celebrating his birthday together, as we are very thankful to the Lord that we have received good parents and that they are still with us. I pray the Lord would bless this day and that His Holy Spirit would be with us to lead this celebration. I pray that it would be a healing time for us all, because no matter how good a family is there are always aspects of relationships to heal.

My family is a few hours drive from where I live, they are near the beach, so I will possibly have traffic jams going there. I pray for protection on the road for me.

Lord, I lift up tomorrow's celebration and I pray it would be a special time, and a very healing time full of joy in You. Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name. amen

I agree with Angeline, make this birthday a beautiful one for her Dad and the entire family. I pray You are present and felt and that your hand of protection is upon Angeline and any others who will travel to the festivities. I pray for forgiving hearts and kindness and reconciliation in each family member tomorrow. And a special dose of peace and contentment for Angeline as she interacts with everyone. Angeline - Be sure and take video's and interview all the family and loved ones who come. This will be something you can bring out every year during dad's birthday and have a live memory book! How wonderful that would be. My dad died in 1996 and how I wish I had something like a video to remember him with. May your day be filled with much love and happiness.

Lord, How exciting this is for Angeline's family, to be able to still have dad and celebrate his birthday. I pray for traveling mercies for all the family and loved ones who will be traveling to attend this birthday celebration. I am excited just thinking about it, Lord. Oh, the possibilities for this birthday! Blessings to all who attend. I pray for the family bond to become even stronger, that any past rifts will be discarded and forgotten and that everyone who comes will find joy and peace in this celebration of life. Amen
