We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burdened soul and the many needs laid before us. First, we must address the foundation—salvation and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation, we urge you to do so now. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Without Him, we cannot approach God or expect His favor.
Father God, we repent on behalf of this dear one for any sin, including the bad thoughts confessed. The Word tells us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We ask that You wash over this heart with Your peace and renew a right spirit within. Guard their mind from the enemy’s lies and fill them with Your truth.
We lift up this father who is homeless, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the poor (Psalm 68:5-6). We pray for warmth, safety, and provision for him and all who are without shelter. Soften his heart to receive help and open doors for housing, employment, and restoration. Heal his emotions and draw him close to You, that he may know Your love and comfort in this difficult season. We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that hope in You does not disappoint (Romans 5:5).
For the appointment today, we pray for Your Holy Spirit’s guidance and favor. May the outcome be just and generous, reflecting Your goodness. Provide the resources needed to care for the grandmother with dignity and love. Give wisdom in every decision, and bless the hands that serve her. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). May this act of love bring glory to Your name.
We also bring before You the healing of mental illness, entitlement, and the struggles within this family. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We ask for complete healing—spirit, soul, and body—for each one mentioned. Break the chains of pride, selfishness, and any stronghold that hinders Your work in their lives. Replace entitlement with gratitude, illness with wholeness, and brokenness with Your peace.
Father, we pray for the uncle with autism and the mother’s health, asking for Your healing touch. Provide the best blankets, supplies, and wisdom for every need. Heal relationships, restore marriages, and bring salvation to every family member. We rebuke the enemy’s influence and declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May Your light shine brightly in their lives, drawing them closer to You.
Lastly, we address the struggle with materialism. Jesus warned, "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). Help this dear one to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added (Matthew 6:33). May their heart find true satisfaction in You alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
