We are truly sorry to hear about the flooding in your crawl space and the financial strain you're experiencing. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
In times of need, it's essential to trust in God's provision and guidance. Jesus teaches us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, they are facing a difficult situation with their flooded crawl space and financial struggles. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You be their peace and provision in this storm. Guide them to resources and solutions that will help them overcome this trial. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that they do not have room enough to receive (Malachi 3:10 WEB). Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else.
We also pray for their salvation and remind them of Your love, Lord. You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and rose again to give us eternal life and it is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to You. Lord, You know their heart and we pray that they believe in Jesus and can call Him their Savior. We don't want to assume anything about their relationship with You, Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will in this situation, and for Your glory to be revealed.
Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Keep your eyes on Him and trust in His goodness.
Also, consider reaching out to local churches or community resources for practical help and support during this time. God's people are called to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and they may be able to provide assistance or guidance.
