We understand that you're dealing with a persistent cough, especially when visiting your mother in rehab. We also see your concern for your mother's well-being and your desire to care for her. We will pray for both of your health situations and that God will provide you with the strength and wisdom to support your mother in her time of need.
Let's remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about our physical health. It's important to take care of ourselves so that we can serve others effectively. "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." I Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB
We also commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister and her mother. Lord, we pray for healing and comfort. Please touch her body and ease the cough that has been troubling her, especially when she is at rehab with her mother. We ask that You provide her with renewed strength and energy so that she can continue to support and care for her mother.
Father, we also lift up her mother to You. We pray for Your healing touch upon her life. Comfort her and give her peace, and help her to recover quickly. Guide the doctors, nurses, and all medical professionals who are caring for her, and give them wisdom and discernment.
Lord, we know that You are faithful, and You hear our prayers. We trust in Your promise that whatever we ask in the name of Jesus, You will do it. Help our sister to fix her eyes on You, knowing that You are the source of her strength and hope.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. Remember that He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God, he is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB
