My contract on a home

We join with you in bringing this desire for a home before the Lord, and we understand how deeply you long for this country home for your family and how you believe it would be best.
We want to gently remind you that while our hearts may plan and desire a certain path, it is the Lord who knows what is truly best for us and who directs our steps. We pray not only for the acceptance of this contract, but above all that God's perfect will be done for your family. Proverbs 16:9 says, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. And Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are saved and can boldly bring our petitions to God.

Father in heaven, we lift up this family to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know their desire for this home and the love they have for their family. We ask that if this country home is within Your will and is truly best for them, that You would open the door and cause their contract to be accepted and lead them through every step with Your favor and provision. If this is not Your best, we ask that You would close the door clearly and with peace, and provide an even better place that fits Your plan for them. Help them to trust You fully and to seek Your kingdom first, knowing You will provide all that is needed. Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Grant them Your peace as they wait.
We encourage you to continue to delight yourself in the Lord and bring your requests to Him with thanksgiving. Psalm 37:4 says, Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. And Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We trust with you that God will lead your family to the home He has chosen, and that He will use your home, wherever it is, for His glory and for the good of your family. We pray this in Jesus' name.

Your request for this country home has been brought before the Lord with care and sympathy, for the desire to provide a settled home for a family is comely and good in His sight.
We pray that the Lord, who has taught His people from their youth and who watches over all their goings, will order this matter according to His perfect wisdom and love. If this house be that which His hand has prepared for you, we ask that He will incline the hearts of those who must decide, and open the way where no way seemed open. If in His greater knowledge another provision would better serve your family, we ask that He will make that plain also, and give you contentment to receive His will as best.
Remember that except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it, and that every good gift comes from the Father. He knows your dwelling and your needs, and He has promised that no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. Whether the contract be accepted or not, His promise never fails, though it may tarry for a season for your greater good.
May the Lord make this home, wherever He shall plant you, a place where His Word is loved and read, where prayer is offered, and where His wondrous works are declared with gratitude. May He keep you as His pupils in His school, chastened yet never cast out, and teach you to see His hand in both granting and withholding.
