We hear the deep longing in your words, the pain of unmet dreams, the weariness of feeling robbed, and the flicker of hope for peace, stability, and even joy in the days ahead. First, we want to affirm that your feelings are valid. The weight of loneliness, betrayal, and unfulfilled desires is heavy, and it’s clear you’ve carried it for a long time. But we must also speak truth in love, for Scripture tells us, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). Satan has indeed sought to rob you, but Jesus came to restore, not just what was lost, but to give you a life far greater than you can imagine.

You mention being "done fighting" and surrendering dreams, but we must gently rebuke the lie that your desires are unattainable or that God has abandoned you. The Bible says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB). This doesn’t mean God is a genie granting wishes, but when we align our hearts with His will, He plants desires within us that He longs to fulfill. Your longing for a home, peace, and companionship is not wrong, it reflects God’s design for His children to live in safety, love, and purpose.

However, we must address the areas where your words reveal pain that has led you to compromise biblical truth. You express a desire for a "fine ass guy" or a boyfriend who accepts your cats, but Scripture is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If you are seeking a relationship, it must be with a godly man who shares your faith in Christ, and it must be pursued with marriage as the goal, not just companionship or physical attraction. The Bible warns against sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB), and any relationship outside of marriage between a man and a woman is not God’s design. We urge you to guard your heart and seek a spouse who honors God, rather than settling for temporary comfort.

You also mention feeling robbed of motherhood, and we grieve with you over this loss. Children are indeed a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3 WEB), but we must trust that God’s plans for you are good, even when they differ from our own. Perhaps He has other ways for you to nurture and love, through mentoring, adoption, or serving in ways only you can. Your worth is not defined by motherhood, but by your identity in Christ.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting up her heart to You. Lord, You see the pain she has carried, the loneliness, the broken dreams, the weariness of feeling unseen. We ask that You would heal her heart and restore what has been stolen. Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell her she is forgotten or that her desires are unattainable. You are the God who restores, who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5 WEB). We pray for the provision of a home where she can find peace and privacy, a place where she can rest and feel secure. Provide for her needs, Lord, and let her see Your hand at work in tangible ways.

Father, we ask that You would align her desires with Your will. If it is Your plan for her to marry, prepare a godly man who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Guard her heart from settling for less than Your best, and help her to wait on Your timing. If singleness is Your plan for her, fill her life with purpose, joy, and deep relationships that reflect Your love. Help her to find community in Your body, the church, where she can be known and loved.

Lord, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual healing. Break the chains of bitterness, resentment, and despair. Replace them with hope, peace, and trust in You. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18 WEB) and that You have plans for her welfare, not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Help her to release the past and embrace the new things You are doing in her life.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You. May she find her identity, worth, and joy in You alone. Let her see herself as You see her, beloved, chosen, and deeply valued. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and let her walk in the confidence of Your love.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come to You. It is only through Jesus that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is only through Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers her and for the hope we have in Him. Amen.

Your cry reveals a heart surging between great expectation and bitter exhaustion, declaring healing and uncommon favor in one breath, and in the next, lamenting that Satan has robbed you of everything and that you are done fighting for dreams. This should not surprise you, for a soul left to its own sight and strength must always swing violently between proud claims and black despair. Indeed, you have hunted hope out of yourself, and finding none there, you have drawn the unwarrantable conclusion that there is no hope for you in God. That is a lie from the pit. There is no hope for you in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you.

You speak much of a home, privacy, an AC unit, a garbage can in your name, a fine man, a classic car, seeing the Grand Canyon. These are the desires of the natural heart, and I will not deceive you by calling them tokens of grace. Yet I observe that you seek a door of hope through these earthly things, a valley of Achor where you might at last possess your promised land of peace and harmony. But a Christian must walk by faith, not by sight. The true door of hope is not a repaired breaker or a new love, it is the great gospel truth of peace with God through Jesus Christ. When those earthly vineyards are given to you, they can be sweet clusters from Eshcol which faith enjoys, but do not make idols of them. To hope for salvation from misery by these outward comforts is a delusion of the most fearful kind. The reason for peace lies not in a private address, but in Christ's having borne your sin in His own body on the tree.

You declare that "life in the breaker is fixed," that you are healed greatly, and you seal it with the blood of Jesus. Yet almost in the same wailing breath you say Satan always ruins everything, your dreams have been taken, and it is all over. What is this double-mindedness? They are like souls in a frightful purgatory of their own making, suffering by turns in an oven of self-confidence and cells of ice of despair! One moment you wave the first sheaf of an imagined harvest and take possession, the next you cry that you were robbed and nothing is restored. You must come to a settled hope. The apostle says, "We are saved in hope." This hope consists of three things, belief, desire, expectancy, and its sphere is things not seen. You see a fixed breaker and shout victory? That is sight. You see no husband, no baby, no friends who say hi, and you collapse in defeat? That too is sight. But hope that is seen is not hope. Your present sphere of hope must be the invisible God of all grace.

You say you have given up on having a baby, that the dream was stolen, and you are done trying to bring back old things. I hear the raw anguish of it. But now listen: to repent of a self-willed life is a Christian’s duty, but to hope for salvation by virtue of that surrender alone is a trap. The moment faith introduced hope into the heart, the believer sang, "I have the complete salvation, not in actual enjoyment, but in sure future in Christ Jesus." Whether the Lord gives you a baby or not, your hope cannot lie in a nursery, but in a risen Savior. There are many who, longing for a lodge in a wilderness far from the haunts of men, wish to simply "chill and enjoy what’s left" as you say. But the peace of Christ is not a mere cessation of struggle while you travel with a cute boyfriend who accepts your cats. True peace is made within the borders of a soul reconciled to God. Turn you to the stronghold, you prisoner of hope.

I mark your words: "Satan always ruins everything in my lifework lifetime lifespan." Hold there. Do you not know that your Lord Jesus went about doing good, healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him? And is He not the same today? Though you cannot work miracles, the great Healer still interposes. The adversary may rage, but you have repeated victories to remember. Recall to your mind the mercy you have already tasted, the fact that you are still drawing breath and crying out to God is proof He has not utterly cast you away. This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. You had many Cape of Storms, but you have weathered them. Now let them be a Cape of Good Hope to you. Say with David, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? Hope thou in God."

It is an infinite mercy that you still can form a cry. I lay this charge upon you: go not back to the pit that has no water. In the last dread hour, when conscience looks at sin as it really is, nothing can bring it peace but the blood of the Lamb. Not a new AC unit. Not a man, however fine or seasoned, who can make up for every selfish unreasonable fool you’ve met. Not even the solitude of your own home with your two cats. These may be common mercies for which you will be grateful, but they cannot be your stronghold in the day of wrath. Jesus Christ Himself is the stronghold. As for you also, by the blood of the covenant He sends forth prisoners from the pit. Turn to Him now. Cease your weary striving to produce a "whole new me" by your own strength and travel plans. The Lord gives a door of hope in the very valley of Achor, the place of trouble. Only come, and you shall receive joy and peace.

You have asked for a fresh start doing things you never got to do. But there is a new creation that far surpasses a hot air balloon ride or a classic car. God Himself says, "Behold, I make all things new," but that newness springs from the soul’s union with Christ. Let the Spirit of union with His people and His gospel be your aim. Do not linger in ceremonies or in demanding your own address before you will have peace. Let the Lord’s own example drive you: He had pity on the villages, on the lost sheep. He was a Home Missionary to Israel. Are you more worthy of perfect privacy than He was, who had nowhere to lay His head? I ask you to consider that the bitterness you feel at being alone might be the very spur to drive you from the tents of Kedar to the heart of God.

You end with "the blood of Jesus," and there alone is my hope for you. In that blood there is a Divine deliverance from the fury of despair. Do not let this flicker of reliance upon that precious blood be extinguished by a furious pursuit of mere creature comforts. I pray you will not experience the awful plunge of having "Peace, peace" sung in your ears from fixed gadgets and new romances, where there is no true peace, only to discover yourself still empty. Instead, come to Jesus. He lives in the place of power. He lives in the place of observation, and He still graciously interposes. There is the brightness of a ray of hope this very hour. May God turn it from a possible hope into an actual and good hope of eternal life through believing. Then, whether you have a man or remain alone, whether the breaker works or fails, whether a baby comes or the dream remains dead, you will be saved in hope, rejoicing in hope of the glory of God.

Your prayer pours out a torrent of earthly requests, yet you name the blood of Jesus. Do you not know that the blood of Christ calls you to die to such worldly clamor, and to seek first the kingdom of God? You beg for a home, an air conditioner, a garbage can, a fine man, and a classic car, as if these were the sum of life. But have you not heard how God clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven? The grass is more precious than all your costly desires, because it at least blooms by God’s hand without anxiety. Why then do you spend your words on things that rust and moth destroy, while your soul is tossed like that ship on the sea, the wind contrary?

You cry that Satan has robbed you, and you have given up all hope. But consider: no one can harm the one who does not injure himself. The true loss is not a car or a boyfriend; it is a heart that has turned from God to cling to shadows. You say you want a “fine ass guy”, see how unworthy such talk is for a mouth that should call on the name of the Lord. Let all lowliness of mind govern your desires. Be lowly not only in words but in your very inmost thoughts, towards friend and foe alike. A husband, if it be God’s will, is not a reward like a free AC unit; he is a companion in the fear of the Lord. But if you seek a man out of weariness or passion, you will find only the wind. And if no husband comes, is God not enough? Many serve Christ without distraction, and He gives them peace that no home of privacy can match.

Do not say it is over. How many have heard the word ten times and seemed hard as stone, yet then one word broke them open and brought forth fruit? The Apostle Paul was a blasphemer and a persecutor, yet mercy overwhelmed him, and grace was exceeding abundant with faith and love. Only bring your faith and love, and God will do what He wills with all the rest. You do not need to chase the Grand Canyon or a hot air balloon to find a fresh start. Enter into your room, shut the door, and pray to your Father in secret. The mountain of solitude is the mother of quiet; there Christ spent whole nights in prayer, teaching us where true peace is born.

The Lord sees your need. He had compassion on the multitude and would not send them away hungry. But He feeds not with comfort and trinkets, but with the bread of life. Seek those riches that are stable and enduring, the fruit of good works. If you would only be a careful hearer, not wondering at words and then going home empty, you would find that the life you have lost is nothing compared to the life Christ gives. The blood of Jesus you invoke is not a charm for worldly gain; it is the price of your redemption from this empty way of life. Let it cleanse your conscience, and then whether you have much or little, whether you travel or stay still, whether you have two cats or none, you will possess that peace and harmony which the world cannot give. Do not shut the door of hope, for even at the vestibule of hell, one may yet turn and lay hold on eternal life.

What you are describing is a war, and you have correctly identified that the battlefield is in your mind. Listen to what you have written: you go back and forth, you are done fighting, then you are naming things you want, you declare it is over, and then you speak of uncommon favor. This is the very turmoil the scriptures describe when they say the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace. The carnal mind is enmity against God; it is not subject to the law of God, and indeed it cannot be. As long as your inner life is a frantic scramble to grab hold of what you do not have, you are walking according to the flesh, and there will be no peace.

You said you were robbed of everything by Satan, never restored properly, and that it is over. I hear the deep hurt in that, but this conclusion is not the voice of the Spirit; it is the persuasion of a hindrance, one that does not come from the One who called you. You started well. You have faith. But who has hindered you from obeying the truth? That old voice wants you to believe that peace will finally come when the breaker is fixed, when the man arrives, when the vacation is booked. These are not bad things in themselves, but if you are looking to them to produce a healed heart, your navigational instruments are off by a degree. You will miss the destination of true rest by a vast distance, even while thinking you are on course.

The prophets of an age that was not right with God kept saying, “Peace, peace,” when there was no peace. You cannot declare “life in the breaker is fixed” outwardly and expect it to fix the breaker that is tripping inside your soul. The chaos and the draining emotional swings you describe, from “I don’t care anymore” to a frantic list of desires, that is the sound of a soul at war with God’s way. You can’t find peace in that. You find constant inner turmoil that is destroying you. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle. It doesn’t rage and give up and rage again.

The healing you need right now is not just in your physical environment, though God cares about that. You need what that woman found when she touched the hem of His garment, knowing what was done in her, and He said, “Go in peace and be whole of thy plague.” The chastisement of your peace was upon Him. That is the miracle that heals the deep plague of a life at war with itself. You cannot manufacture this new, happy self by sheer will or by insisting on uncommon favor as a wage you are owed. You will only wear yourself out. You are trying to be made perfect in the flesh, and that race always ends in collapse.

As many as walk according to this rule, trusting entirely in the finished work of Jesus Christ, not in the acquisition of a home, a man, or a vacation, peace be upon them, and mercy. The natural effect of that trust is peace. Grace, mercy, and peace are yours from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Not just a wish for you to prosper in health as your soul prospers, but a reality when your soul prospers by walking after the Spirit. The mind of the Spirit is life and peace.

Stop fighting to bring back old things, as you said, but don’t just seek a new set of circumstances. Seek a new mind. The answer to a life of love, joy, peace, and self-control is not getting the things you’ve listed; it is the fruit of the Spirit growing where the flesh has been crucified. When you are no longer mastered by that frantic, fleshly craving, you are in the Spirit, if so be the Spirit of God dwells in you. From henceforth, let no one trouble you with these marks of the flesh that feel like chaos. Bear in your body the marks of the Lord Jesus, which is to walk in peace, even if the portable sink is still your only water for a time.

He is God’s provision for your sin and your turmoil. Make peace with God, and that brings peace within your own heart. No longer is that war going on within. Enter into that rest. Don’t fail to enter it because you’re still looking at a list of demands. Let the stones that would cry out if His people were silent now cry out in your life with a declaration of trust, not in what you can get, but in what He has already done. Go in peace, and be whole.
