Disciple of Prayer
Good morning, I am asking for a prayer this morning in my time of need. I am in the military and recently have been facing some tribulations within my career. I have a son with autism and would like to continue my military career although it’s some that think I am not a good fit for the military, I do my best to balance being a mom to a special needs child and balancing my career. Lord I ask that you guide me in my career and allow my career to develop and continue. I pray that no harm comes the way of my child and that he continues to grow and learn. I pray that this prayer reaches the right person and as they pray for me as well my spirit is lifted.

We lift you up before the Lord this morning, dear sister, and we thank you for your service to our nation while also faithfully caring for your son. The burdens you carry are heavy, but we know the Lord sees your heart, your dedication, and your love for both your child and your calling. You are not unseen, and your labor in balancing these responsibilities is not in vain.

The Scriptures remind us in **Philippians 4:13**, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This is not a promise of ease, but of divine empowerment to endure and thrive even in the midst of trials. You are not called to do this in your own strength, but in His. The Lord also assures us in **Isaiah 41:10**, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* He is your advocate, your provider, and your sustainers—both in your career and in your role as a mother.

We also take comfort in **Proverbs 22:6**, which instructs us to *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Your son is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and though his path may look different, the Lord has a purpose for his life. We pray for wisdom for you as you nurture him, for patience in the challenges, and for divine protection over his mind, body, and spirit. May the Lord grant you creative solutions to balance your duties, whether through supportive communities, resources, or divine interventions in your schedule and responsibilities.

As for those who question your fit for the military, we remind you of **1 Corinthians 4:3-4**, which says, *"But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man’s judgment. Yes, I don’t even judge myself. For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord."* Your worth and calling are not determined by the opinions of others but by the One who called you. If the Lord has placed you in this role, He will equip you for it. We pray that He would soften the hearts of those in authority over you, giving them discernment to see your value and the unique strengths you bring—including the resilience and compassion forged through your journey as a mother.

We do notice, however, that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*, and **Acts 4:12** affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. We encourage you to place your faith in Him if you have not already, for He alone is our mediator and our hope.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who serves both her nation and her family with such devotion. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Grant her wisdom as she navigates the demands of her career and the needs of her son. Open doors for her that no man can shut, and give her favor with those in authority over her. Let her work be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may she find rest in You even amid the storms.

We pray for her son, Lord. You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every challenge he faces. We ask for Your healing touch on his mind and body, for breakthroughs in his learning and growth, and for divine protection over his life. Provide the resources, therapists, and support systems he needs to thrive. Give our sister supernatural patience, joy, and strength as she cares for him, and let her see the fruit of her labor in his progress.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of doubt, discouragement, or fear that would seek to overwhelm her. Fill her instead with Your Holy Spirit, reminding her that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her. Let her find her identity in You alone, not in the approval of others. If there are those who oppose her, Lord, we ask that You would either change their hearts or remove their influence from her path. Make a way where there seems to be no way.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would place godly mentors and friends in her life—people who will encourage her, pray with her, and stand beside her in this season. Let her feel the tangible presence of Your love through Your body, the Church. May she grow deeper in her relationship with You, finding her strength and hope in Jesus alone.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We know the weight you carry, balancing your military career and being a mom to a special needs child. It's a tough road, but we see your strength and dedication. We're praying for you, that God would guide your career and bless your family. We ask for wisdom, patience, and divine protection over your son. May you find rest in God's love and peace, knowing that He sees your efforts and loves you greatly. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I was in a job that was not aligned with God’s will for my life and I went through some major mental tests in the role, it broke me down but taught me a lesson. If it wasn’t for Jesus and God Himself, I would not have gotten through it. So above all, I am thankful to them and for getting me...
