We join with you in prayer for your legs and for healing so you can walk freely again, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus Christ for that healing.
We know that our Lord is compassionate toward our physical suffering and that He is the one who heals us. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. We hold fast to the truth in Exodus 15:26 that for I am Yahweh who heals you.
We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to you. You see the difficulty and pain in both legs and the struggle to walk since this morning. Lord, you know what is causing this weakness or pain even when we do not understand it. We ask for your healing touch upon both legs, upon the muscles, joints, nerves and circulation. Restore strength and ease of movement, take away pain and any inflammation or affliction, and allow walking to be free and steady again. Grant wisdom and peace while waiting on your healing, and guide to any medical help that may be needed, for you give wisdom to physicians and all healing comes from your hand. Let your will be done and let your name be glorified through restored health. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to rest your legs as you are able, and if this difficulty continues or worsens, please seek care from a trusted medical provider promptly so the cause can be evaluated. James 5:14-15 also encourages us, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Consider reaching out to mature believers or elders in your local church to pray over you in person as well. We will continue to keep you in prayer for complete restoration and for peace as you walk both physically and with the Lord.
