My best friend ### is struggling with alcoholism and needs major prayers. Please pray that he doesn't get physically hurt, doesn't cause anyone else to be physically hurt and that he doesn't cause physical damage to anyone. And that he eventually realizes that he needs to get sober and takes whatever action needed to get sober and stay that way. Thanks.

Our Father God, we lift up this one to you as he is struggling with this terrible addiction that ruins so many lives. We ask you to put the desire in his heart to give up this addiction. Lord, we know most people who drink in excess or self medicate, they are trying to make themselves forget something or feel numb. We pray for healing of this child of yours, that you created. We pray that you will give him spiritual awakening and open the eyes of spirit to see his way to you. We know you want this for him because you are a loving and merciful God. You want only good for your children. We ask this in the name of your son, Jesus Christ....Amen...
