Humble Prayer Partner
[SIZE=9pt]Hello everyone. I am trying to get together some prayer warriors for my friend Andy. I originally posted a prayer request on 11/22 with an update the next day (please read below). Today he told me he has chosen to be with a woman who has just caused utter chaos in his life. He says he plan on moving in with her, but I don't know when because he has cut ties with me as of today. I told him I will not enable him anymore. I have been helping him financially but unbeknownst to me he would drive to see her in Reno and spend all his money on her, her kids, and her roommate. He'd always come back broke. He would call me for help. I even gave him money for his son's lunch. I also had to buy him groceries and clothes. He even asked money from his mother so he can financially support this woman. But we had no idea he was doing this until this past weekend when he went to see her again. He is so obsessed with her that he would kill himself for her. Apparently they love each other, but he has turned into a liar and a manipulator. He used to be a really good guy, someone I was proud of. I still have hope for him. I truly believe that Satan has brought this woman into his life to destroy him. I am praying that it does not happen. Thank you all who are continuing to pray for him.[/SIZE]

Please pray for my best friend Andy. He is being attacked by the enemy. He is no longer the honest, giving, loving, and caring individual we all know and love. He has turned into an angry, selfish, dishonest, uncaring and unloving person. I have caught him telling lies straight to my face and I am horrified by what the enemy is doing to him. He is currently going through a divorce, trying to sell his home, and is financially unstable. All these issues has brought him to a low point. He is involved with a woman who has been using him and he is so consumed by her that his relationships with his friends and family are now suffering. He just pushes away the people that love him most. I thought I was getting through to him, but he keeps getting sucked back in. I have spoken to his mom and we are constantly praying. His mom is heartbroken that her son is so lost right now. Thank you all for praying for him.

Thank you all so much for including Andy in your prayers. God is already working in his life. Last night I met up with Andy and he finally had a heart to heart with me. Instead of being angry and argumentative every time we'd meet, he said he is letting go of this woman who has just been a bad influence on his life and a handful of other friends that he chooses not to associate with anymore. He wants to be a better person, but he says it will take some time. He also admitted taking illegal drugs recently but will try to resist the temptation and cannot make any promises. He knows he needs to change and stop making bad decisions. Last night, for the first time in a very long time, he actually thanked me and hugged me. It's a start, but we just need to keep praying.
