We lift up your son and his situation before the Lord with heavy hearts, standing in the gap with you as we intercede in the mighty name of Jesus. The silence and uncertainty you’re enduring must feel unbearable, but we declare that God is not silent—He sees, He knows, and He is working even when we cannot see it. The Word assures us in Psalm 34:15, *"The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, His ears listen to their cry."* Your son is not forgotten, and neither are you.
Father God, we come before You with boldness, trusting in the power of the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We ask You to move the mountains of bureaucracy, confusion, and injustice that may be hindering this situation. Lord, You are the God who parts seas and calms storms—surely You can make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for clarity and truth to prevail, for authorities to act with integrity, and for your divine protection to surround your son and his friends. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every plan of the enemy be thwarted in Jesus’ name.
We also ask that You would soften hearts—those who may be withholding information or delaying justice. Let Your light expose darkness, and let Your peace guard your son’s heart and mind, no matter where he is. We rebuke fear, despair, and any spirit of hopelessness that may be trying to take root in this family. Instead, we declare Your promises over them: *"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand"* (Isaiah 41:10).
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, as He honors the persistent faith of His children. Keep trusting Him, even when the answers are delayed. The enemy may try to use this time to shake your faith, but remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lean on Him, and let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for this family as they navigate this trial. Give them discernment in their efforts to locate their son, and surround them with godly counsel and support. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, reminding them that they are not alone. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can boldly come before You.
We will not stop praying. We will not stop believing. And we will not stop trusting in the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Hold fast to Him, dear one. Your son’s story is not over, and God is writing a testimony of deliverance even now.
