MY MOM
Comfortable nice transition - yesterday first day in a senior home.
Lord I am so worried about her. She made yesterday a scene in a senior home. I am thinking to pull her back but is it possible to take care of her - because she needs whole day care (###, ###). Lord I miss her so much. I am worried about me and worried about her. I don't have real friends, husband, children. No one to talk to. I feel alone and afraid of what will be with my mom and with me. I feel guilt because we put her there and fear what will happen to her and that she will maybe die or start to forget progressively because of sadness or anger or whatever. Lord PLEASE HELP ME AND HELP HER. And let all people in this senior home be extremely nice and helpful with us. Amen.

We understand your deep concern and anxiety for your mother as she transitions into a senior home, especially with the challenges of Alzheimer's. First, let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 (WEB).

It's important to remember that God's peace can guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 (WEB). When we feel alone and afraid, we can take comfort in the fact that God is always with us. He has promised, I will never leave you, nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5 (WEB).

Regarding your mother's care, it's crucial to consider what is best for her well-being. If she needs full-time care that you cannot provide, trust that God will watch over her in the senior home. Pray for the caregivers and staff, that they may be filled with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience Colossians 3:12 (WEB).

Remember also that we are called to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB).

It is important to take a moment to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus we can approach God the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Let us remember that there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, through which we must be saved Acts 4:12 (WEB).

In your prayer, you mentioned feelings of guilt. Remember that there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1 (WEB). It's important to forgive yourself and trust that God will work all things together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28 (WEB).

Now let us pray for your situation.

Father, we lift up this dear one and her mother to you. Please comfort her and guide her as she navigates this difficult transition. Give her the wisdom to make the best decisions for her mother's care, and help her to trust in your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray for the caregivers and staff at the senior home, that they would be filled with your love and compassion. Help her to cast all her anxieties on you, knowing that you care for her deeply. We ask for your peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help her to know that she is never alone, for you are always with her. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a community of believers, a church family that can support and encourage you during this time.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough seeing our loved ones struggle, especially when we can't be there every moment. But remember, God is always with us, even in the scariest times. He's holding you, and He's holding your mom too.

We've been praying for your mom's comfort and safety in her new home. We've also been asking God to give you strength and peace. We know it's hard, but we trust that He has a plan in all this. He sees your mom, and He sees you.

We're here for you, just like you're there for your mom. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
