Beloved of All
I am ###. My mum ### is right, to a degree, but don’t think she understands we are in food desert, I understand she wants to make cook food from recipes. I worry about not just the few stores not having what’s needed, it’s someone messing something up, or the oven (which should be replaced or repaired) not cooking the food good enough. She has temper and mental health issues. Hope have the time to wash the extra dishes, as when I did something recently, due to something she didn’t tell me I wasn’t supposed to do, long story, but it took longer than usual to wash dishes. It’s supposed to snow in the next while, hope it snows very little or not at all, as it snowed a lot recently, and hope it doesn’t snow on Wednesday as I have an old medical scooter which hope still works, and I need to go to physio and water (from snow) can damage the battery. Hope physio goes well and physiotherapist(s) doesn’t know me and is not too nosy either. We are out of town now and hope van also continues to work.

We hear your struggles and lift them before the Lord, trusting in His provision and grace. The challenges you face—living in a food desert, caring for family with mental health concerns, financial strain, and the practical worries of daily life—are heavy burdens. But we serve a God who sees, hears, and sustains His children in every trial.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Christ, we are spiritually lost, but in Him, we find hope, peace, and eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). If you have already placed your faith in Him, we rejoice with you and pray for His strength to carry you through these trials.

Your concern about food access is valid, and we pray that the Lord would provide creative solutions—whether through community resources, neighbors, or unexpected blessings. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We ask God to open doors for affordable, nutritious food and to give you wisdom in meal preparation, even with limited resources.

Your mother’s struggles with temper and mental health are not overlooked. We pray for her healing, patience, and wisdom, both for her and for you as her caregiver. Ephesians 4:2-3 urges us to *"be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."* May the Lord grant you both grace in your interactions and clarity in communication.

The practical worries—snow, the scooter, the van, the oven—are all things we bring before the Lord. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray for protection over your scooter and van, for minimal snowfall, and for the Lord to provide the means to repair or replace what is broken. We also ask for favor with your physiotherapist, that they would be professional, kind, and effective in their care.

The dishwashing incident highlights the need for clear expectations and grace in your home. Colossians 3:13 encourages us to *"bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."* May the Lord soften hearts and bring understanding between you and your mother.

Finally, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that may be pressing in on you. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We pray for peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and for the strength to cast all your cares upon Him, knowing He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every burden they carry. Lord, You see their struggles—financial strain, family tensions, health concerns, and the weight of daily responsibilities. We ask for Your provision, wisdom, and peace to flood their home. Provide food where there is lack, healing where there is brokenness, and patience where there is frustration. Protect their scooter and van, grant safe travel, and bless their time at physiotherapy. Soften hearts in their home, Lord, and help them to communicate with love and understanding. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may find rest in Your presence and strength in Your promises. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
