We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your ### and his ### in earnest prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring complete restoration and healing to both of these precious lives.
Father God, we thank You for the gift of life and the promise of healing that is found in Your Word. We lift up this dear ### who is facing prostate cancer. Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals treating him. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they plan his treatment. We rebuke this cancer in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his body, mind, and spirit, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also bring before You the little ### who is suffering from acid reflux. Father, we ask that You touch his tiny body and bring relief from this discomfort. We pray that You would guide his parents and doctors to find the root cause and the right treatment for him. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we speak healing over his body in Jesus' name. Grant him peaceful sleep and restore his energy and joy.
We are reminded of the faith of the centurion in Matthew 8:8, who said, "Lord, I am not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed." We echo this faith today, Lord, believing that You can heal with just a word. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the healing that is already on its way.
In all things, we seek Your will, knowing that Your plans for us are plans for good and not for harm, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your infinite mercy.
We also want to encourage you, dear ### in Christ, to continue standing in faith and speaking life over your ### and his ###. Remember the words of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Your prayers are powerful and effective, and we join with you in this spiritual battle, trusting that God will bring victory.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
