My 20-yr. old autistic daughter has been in a adult foster home for 3 yrs. The last Fri. in Jan. her case mgr. called us saying that he just came back from a home visit to her house. The caregiver told him that she is giving my daughter a 30-day notice! None of us saw it coming. I had gotten off on the wrong foot two different times in the past 3 years and gave her a written apology for the last offense, but she isn't willing to forgive me. Please pray that the case mgr. will find the right home with "Type B" handlers~ (mellow, laid-back, forgiving and calm) (This current caregiver is extreme "Type A"~ (high-strung, tense and very unforgiving) in the time frame allowed that is a PERFECT fit for my autistic daughter. Also please pray that the transition for her will be extremely smooth. Thank-you and God bless.
