We lift up your brother before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for his willingness to serve and help you with your vehicle. It is a blessing to see family members laboring in love for one another, reflecting the selflessness Christ calls us to in Philippians 2:3-4, *"Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others."* May the Lord grant him wisdom, strength, and patience as he works on your Durango. We pray that every bolt, nut, and screw would come loose with ease, that no drilling would be required, and that the repair would be completed smoothly and safely. May the Lord’s favor rest upon his hands as he labors, and may this time together also be an opportunity for you both to encourage one another in faith.
We also bring his health before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. The trial of cancer is one that tests our faith and reminds us of our dependence on Him. We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh"* and claim healing over your brother’s body in the mighty name of Jesus. While we pray for complete restoration and that the doctors would find no trace of cancer in January, we also ask the Lord to prepare your brother’s heart to trust Him no matter the outcome. May this season draw him closer to the Lord, and may he find peace in the truth of Psalm 112:7, *"He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh."*
We are also grateful to hear that despite health challenges, you both are faithful to walk and steward the bodies God has given you. What a testament to perseverance and the strength that comes from the Lord! We pray that these walks would not only strengthen your bodies but also your spirits as you reflect on God’s creation and His goodness. May this time be filled with uplifting conversation, prayer, and the joy of fellowship as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the bond of family and the ways You provide for us through one another. We ask that You would bless this time of repair on the vehicle, granting safety, wisdom, and success. Lord, we also lift up our brother’s health to You, asking for complete healing and restoration. May his body respond to Your healing touch, and may the results in January bring glory to Your name. Strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit, and remind him daily that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus, knowing that it is only through Him we have access to Your throne. May Your will be done, and may You receive all the honor. Amen.
