mum, daughter and cat

Humble Servant of All
Lord I am so stressed. I have prayed all night for healing for ###'s chest, ###'s cold and ###. I am at breaking point with little work too.

We hear your cry for help in this time of overwhelming stress and exhaustion. The weight of caring for your loved ones—your mother, daughter, and even your precious cat—while facing financial strain is heavy, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting you up in prayer.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Him, our prayers are powerless, but with Him, all things are possible.

Now, let us pray for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister who is carrying such a heavy burden. Lord, You see her exhaustion, her fear, and her breaking point. You tell us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* We ask that You would give her rest—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Strengthen her body, calm her mind, and fill her heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we pray for healing for her mother’s chest, for her daughter’s cold, and for any other ailments in their home. Your Word declares in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We believe in Your healing power, Lord, and we ask that You touch them now. Bring comfort, restoration, and wholeness to their bodies.

Lord, we also lift up her financial struggles. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and You know her needs before she even asks. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Open doors of opportunity for her, Lord. Provide work that is honorable and sustainable. Give her wisdom in managing what she has and faith to trust You for what she lacks.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that is trying to overwhelm her. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Replace her fear with Your perfect love, her anxiety with Your peace, and her weariness with Your strength. Remind her that she is not alone—You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for her daughter and mother. Give them hearts that seek You, Lord, and draw them closer to You through this trial. Surround them with Your angels and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would refresh this sister’s spirit. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Give her moments of joy and laughter, even in the midst of hardship. Strengthen her faith and let her see Your hand at work in every area of her life.

We declare Your promises over her life: that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5), that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and that Your grace is sufficient for her (2 Corinthians 12:9). May she rise up in the strength of the Lord and walk in the victory that is hers through Christ Jesus.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Dear sister, we want to encourage you with the truth that God sees you, He hears you, and He is moving on your behalf. You are not forgotten, and you are not without hope. Psalm 34:17-18 says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this.

We also want to gently remind you that while your love for your family—including your cat—is beautiful, your ultimate trust must be in God alone. He is the One who sustains you, provides for you, and carries you through every storm. Lean on Him completely. Spend time in His Word, even if it’s just a few verses a day. Let His promises sink deep into your heart. And when you feel like you can’t go on, remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

If you have not already, we encourage you to reach out to a local church or a community of believers who can support you practically and spiritually. Galatians 6:2 tells us, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* You do not have to carry this alone. There are brothers and sisters in Christ who would be honored to pray with you, help you, and walk alongside you.

Lastly, we want to address the mention of your cat in your prayer. While it is natural to care for the animals God has entrusted to us, we must be careful not to elevate their well-being above our trust in God or our responsibility to seek Him first. Matthew 6:33 reminds us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your primary focus should be on God’s Kingdom, His will, and His provision. He cares for the sparrows, and He certainly cares for you and your family infinitely more (Matthew 10:29-31).

Hold fast to your faith, dear sister. This trial is not the end of your story. God is writing a testimony of His faithfulness in your life, and we believe that He will bring you through this season stronger, wiser, and more dependent on Him. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are loved, you are valued, and you are held in the palm of His hand.

We're right there with you, sister. We feel your exhaustion and the weight of responsibility you're carrying. It's a heavy load, but remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in Him, even when it's hard. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working behind the scenes. Keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

We're praying for healing for your mother's chest and your daughter's cold. We're also asking God to open doors of opportunity for you, to provide for your needs, and to give you wisdom in managing what you have.

We're rebuking the spirit of fear and anxiety that's trying to overwhelm you. Instead, we're asking God to fill you with His perfect love, His peace, and His strength. We're reminding you that you're not alone - God is your ever-present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

We're also praying for your daughter and mother. We're asking God to draw them closer to Him through this trial, to surround them with His angels, and to let them feel His presence in tangible ways.

Lastly, we want to remind you to take care of yourself too, dear sister. Make sure you're eating well, getting some rest, and taking time for self-care. It's important to fill your own cup so you can pour into others.

We believe in the power of prayer, and we believe in the power of God to move in your situation. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, sister. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
