What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Psalm 100 A psalm for giving grateful praise.

1. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
3. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
5. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Commentary by ### re Ephesians 3:20-21

It is inaccurate to say that God is able to do “exceeding abundantly” above all we ask or think–period. This verse goes on to say that what God is able to do is according to the power that works in us. No power working in us = no manifestation of God’s power.

The Lord doesn’t work “sovereignly” as the word is most often used; i.e., independent of us. He has to flow through us because of the laws of authority that He established. If the Lord was accomplishing His will without the power that’s working in us, then things would be much better than they are. We limit what God can do, because of our unbelief
